Good Simple Living would really love for you to help them when they put the roof on their house. You did a fabulous job on their pole barn!

Amazing work. I have never seen a laser screed or a rider screed before.
@krhunt6293 жыл бұрын
Actually that was amazing to me. I didn't know such a vast surface area could be poured in one go as a single surface. I figured it would require multiple sections poured separately yet connected. In glad you posted it. Cool.

Thanks 🙏 that laser screed makes it possible.

Great concrete pour! I hear you guys do roofs too? LOL!

Ya, what you heard I correct. Usually we do the whole building ;) but there is always exceptions to make. We are actually really working on the logistics and details and hoping to make it work to do their roof :):)

How much did that copper head screws run ya!?Concrete is hard work. You guys did good for the Farley low amount of guys you had.

Thanks 🙏 Keith bought it lightly used, not sure how much he paid for it. What type of screed do you use?
@chazgeisler62133 жыл бұрын
@@KoverageContractors we are based out of Ogden Utah. We use a regular viberscreed that is man operated. A lot more labor intensive to do the same work you guys were just doing.

Why no support for re-bar? It is laying flat on ground.
@KoverageContractors3 жыл бұрын
As we pour we lift the rebar and we aim to have it at least 1” above the ground.

Y no visqueen?
@KoverageContractors4 жыл бұрын
We do use Visqueen when we do slabs with hydronic heat. In nothern Idaho we don't have much moisture in the ground and we don't get moisture through the concrete. Where are you from?
@joeconner98014 жыл бұрын
@@KoverageContractors Louisiana. We use it on shops. But don’t believe the moister comes up through the concrete myself. If the slab sweats here it’s normally really humid outside. The moister is in the air. No coming out the ground. I

That makes sense, the humidity is generally fairly low out here.
@joeconner98014 жыл бұрын
@@KoverageContractors I believe so. I’ve had shops that I put visqueen under concrete and it still sweats until it’s all closed in.

Your workmanship is top class,even your camera work has to be admired but the steel reinforcement wouldn't cut it here in ireland

Thanks, I really appreciate that🙏 I have always wanted to go to Ireland! Ya, I am sure there are few different requirements for different applications from country to country.

Those copper head screeds are terrible. There's a reason they don't make them anymore. That slab was not flat at all. This guy knows just enough to be dangerous. Why only 1 rider? Also when you burn the slab off why dont you run a nice straight pattern across the whole slab rather than here and there and everywhere.
