We had to use a technique we have never used before to speed the curing process up. Since this slab was ours we decided to use this technique and see how it worked and see if it would be effective.

Interesting. In Europe we pour the slab after the building has been built.

Looks like a crap mix design if it took that long to cure. Normally for pumping, would add a mid range water reducer and it should cure normally if batched correctly. Sounds like someone was ultra conservative with cure times and actually retarded the cure.
