Great job you have done all by the book on the prep work and pouring of the new concrete. Those Belle Warrior wheelbarrows are the best in the business even @ £150. You will go through 3 £50 metal wheelbarrows in a year in bricklaying but those Belle puncture proof plastic ones will last forever. Thumbs up.

Your barrow haulers are real men. In the States we try and use mini pumpers to move fresh concretes whenever possible. Lazy us. Very interesting to watch a different crews approach and a great video.

That's because in the states you have all the correct equipment unlike us here in the poor UK. There was probably a man on the pavement (sidewalk) making that concrete by hand on a wooden board. 😂 I would use a pump too if I had one.

Seriously dont know why everybody is complaining about the concrete. I've been present on pours in Belgium, Netherland and on occasion in Germany (not so frequent). I have seen slabs being pored for small sheds, houses, parking structures... Allways seen it with a pomp and a density as shown here. Must also add i have allways seen rebar added. I have never seen a crack in any of those pours after they dried... i am not an engineer. So i know little too nothing about strength... just sharing what i have seen in 9 years of construction. Hi Stu ! I’m from the US and when it comes to pouring concrete like that we always put some rebar on it supposedly it makes the concrete stronger and it won’t crack. And I noticed you guys didn’t put any rebar, do you always do it like that in the UK? Great vid by the way love it when Mr KC is on the job👍
