Excellent video. Will be starting my logging scene water effects soon and have been looking for “how to’s” on water placement. Many thanks.

Great video instruction. At the 9:10 mark you mention doing another video with the ripples. Did you do that video, because I can't find it.

Excellent video with great info. Blowing through a straw is a great tip also. I am about to pour Environtex for a fairly large harbor scene in HO. It's about 5' wide at the front and narrows to about 2.5 feet wide on the other side of a bridge trestle combination. What product did you use to seal the masonite front trim piece? Also, how long is the working time of the Environtex? Thanks very much and any advice is welcome with using this method for water. Thanks. Phil NYC Area

This is probably a silly question but what kind of table do you use for your model railroad

Do you have more videos of your NewHaven layout?

Using the dirty green tint was very effective Doug. I suppose the choice of shade depends on the area you're modelling and even the "weather" in your scene. I've seen a lot of guys use various blue shades and it sometimes works but can look quite artificial. I would stick with that green - best effect I've seen. 👍👌😁 Just wondering: if you added a small amount of scatter-type material, would you get a decent representation of weeds/algae in the water, or would it just make a sticky mess? Cheers for now, Dougie.
