There needs to be a KZbin monetization handicap for videos/creators like this. This is God's work. I still can't figure out my specific locking mechanism but I think mine might be broken. But imagine how helpful this is to people. A lot of gates come second hand with little to no explanation, cause its a gate, how hard can it be. However, the attention to detail here needs appreciation.

How important is it that both paper sides of the sticky discs are removed? I am using my Lindam safety gate on my staircase and I would prefer not to damage my wooden bannister with the outer side of the sticky disc. My bannister is coated with wood stain. Any and all replies appreciated

Can I buy replacement sticky things? My daughter installed the gate about 3 inches from the floor and I've accidentally tripped over the bottom bar twice in one day. We need to lower the gate to touch the floor.

No you don't have to lock the bottom part

You don't have to but I lock one catch, the one on the room you're keeping your child in, I find it stops the bottom flexing when they push on it, and stops the gate in position when you close it so you're not trying to line it up.

Hi pouse around the house thank you so much for the video instructions. Unfortunately my four rubber are worn out and the gate just fell out after fixing it almost 3 years ago and i have 1 year old baby should i buy a new gate or can i get the rubber somewhere. Thanks

You could try buying new fittings but I imagine it would be just as cheap to buy a new gate, or look for one second hand. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.

You can buy extensions for most baby gates which may solve your problem, or failing that just screw a few pallets together and build a wooden wall. You will need one once they start getting adventurous! Thanks for watching.

On mine the bottom bolts just keep spinning. It's a very poor product, I prefer confidence and simply screw into the door frame.
