I would do Au Pied de Cochon any day for decadent poutine!! Go to any Lafleur or La Belle Province for a simple quick poutine fix on the cheap, no need to run around town for that. By the way the best poutine is actually off the Island in La Chute Restaurant La Belle in my opinion.

La Banquise is absolutely right. It's not a bad poutine but it's far from the best and much more expensive than it's worth. Avoid it. IMO Chez Ma Tante is the best poutine in mtl but don't over think it. Go to Lafleur or La Belle Province. Get a combo meal 2 steamies, poutine and a pepsi. Real Montreal shit right there.

If you really want a great poutine in Montreal go to paulo et Suzanne on gouin in front of sacre coeur hospital Take a bacon poutine with sauce au poivre and regular sauce 50/50 that's the best poutine in Montreal .
