How do you get into the trades in Massachusetts? Do you have a guy that you know? The build show watching for years but found you RR Building a question about cold 🥶 water system for air conditioning in summer months or can you just turn down to 60

Im confused. Do they call Air Source Heat Pumps Hydronic Heat pumps in the states? I have Sooooooo many questions.

Nevermind i just googled the Model in the description.... It is indeed an Air Source Heat Pump. How well do they work with PEX piping? Practice standards in the UK DO NOT allow any sort of plastic piping apart from radiator circuits and you have to keep it to a minimum. At least not when i was installing them during the huge wave when they had the original BUS Scheme. Maybe theyve become more lenient on this now.

It has a flat plat heat exchanger inside the outdoor unit, the pex is supply and return leaders from the boiler system in the basement. It’s air to water

@@mechanical-hub I've never seen a system that didn't use a plate heat exchanger but they are always name d by their source. Air source and Ground source and on the VERY rare occasion water source. (Or open loop fed)
