Can relate since I've been driving a Civic from this lil fun machine for a few months now. Honestly missing driving a stick shift (my Civic is a 2002 AT); my old 1997 Daihatsu Cuore was MT. Was fun, although quite tiring cause traffic jams are a commonplace in this town where I am.

I live in Japan. My wife's work car is a Kei Suzuki Alto. The most fun part of driving a Kei is when four adults are riding it and you're going up a long, steep hill. Don't worry about revving the hell out of these engines they're underpowered by law and hence they're always redlining.

I had one. The 660cc 16v Twincam Turbo and AWD (yes it had all wheel steering too!) was fast off the lights. Needs wider tires though. I put white Compomotive 14" alloys with 175 tyres on mine to reduce the 4x4 wheel spin off the line! Normally a Japanese Kia car not sold over here they were introduced into the UK in limited numbers (200 I think) to qualify for Rallying! The UK ones (Coure not Mira) were faster with unlimited engines so they're rare as hens teeth! Always regretted selling mine.

Ah man... The nostalgia this car brings me is immense! Was my first car for 4 years straight. Was a 1997 manual base model fitted with ED-10 3cyl Carburetted 847cc engine. Although it did break down quite a few times, both major and minor; it still was a reliable, fun little machine! Really miss it now.
