Yeah it's power steering. Very common on these 3.8 mustangs. I just put a reman on mine. New fluid, belt, and pulley. Still whines outta the box

Sorry for the late response bro, I think at this point I had a full pypes exhaust(high flow cats, X-pipe, and street pro mufflers) I just recently got shorty headers - it makes the car slightly quieter at low rpm’s but louder at high rpm’s.

I watched this video after contemplating on buying a 4.6L to see if its really needed over the V6.. it really is. I pay 3 bucks more a month and literally get maybe a mile or two less a gallon over it. And no one teases you for the raspy v6 noises coming from a mustang

I mean if you really want to go crazy the f150 4.2 shortblock will work with your wiring harness and is basically a bigger 3.8. Build that and turbo and you’ll have a light fun ass car.

@@azuzsee yeah the lucas oil stop leak worked for me. but don't add too much, actually best if you remove some old fluid and add the whole bottle. i used a cheapy fluid extractor

For context my daily is a bone stock ls1 firebird, should I be able to make more power than it by building the v6?

Honestly I don’t know if it’d be faster then you ls1, however I’d look at the forums and see what other people have done. What I’ve seen are people doing turbo builds, and swapping the terminator supercharger onto the v6. In my case I have a full exhaust with headers, tuned on 93, intake and coil pack. I have beaten a few different cars as you can see from my other videos. I’ve beaten a 2018 eco boost from a 20 roll and I can beat a fairly stock 99-04 mustang GT.

Tubular front end, back half of the roll cage is about to be welded together, built rear end, gutted interior, wide wheels on sticky tires and a 5 speed.
