The Hardanger Bridge (Norwegian: Hardangerbrua) is a suspension bridge across the Eidfjorden branch off of the main Hardangerfjorden in Vestland county, Norway. The bridge connects the municipalities of Ullensvang and Ulvik. It replaced a ferry connection between Bruravik and Brimnes, and thereby shortens the driving time between Oslo and Bergen. It is the longest suspension bridge in Norway.
Characteristics: The length of the bridge is 1380 m; length of the main span - 1310 m.
The bridge has one of the longest spans in the world (No. 12 in the world and No. 1 in Norway).
The height of the bridge above sea level is 55 m.
The bridge has two lanes. The bridge is also divided into a carriageway and a bike path/sidewalk.
The small difference between the length of the bridge (1380 m) and the span (1310 m) is explained by the fact that the fjord is very deep and its banks are steep, so the supports must be on the shore. In addition, sheer cliffs approach the shores. On both sides, the road enters the tunnels directly from the bridge. The maximum water depth in the area of ​​the bridge is about 500 m; the height of the mountains surrounding the fjord is about 1200 m.

I'm a trucker it's the USA and I love driving trucks but the roads of Europe fascinate me and Norway I love that race it's a challenge with the narrow roads I like them a lot because I don't get bored on the other hand the roads in the USA are boring they are wide and there are no landscapes
