I tell everybody that tracking your Shelby is an incredible experience. Glad to see you taking that beast on track. They are a blast no doubt. Keep going buddy and you'll get better and better each time out. Congrats!

Hey man, it was cool having you out there. Quick car in the straights, I definitely couldn't keep up with that! Go back in July, it's a very tight course to learn on, and that's great. One thing you can work on is keeping your steering "locked" in a corner. Choose your angle and stick to it. Steering is braking and will scrub speed. Finding the right angle for your speed in the corner will net you quite a bit of time. On the carousel before wheelie hill, you want to stay as far left as you can and use the track camber for as much grip as possible. Don't go out to the right, you have wayyy more grip inside on the left than you do in any other corner. All in all, great job! Your car is fast in the straights, but you'll lower your lap times in the corners. Hope to see you again!

The first of many I hope! Like you, the biggest thing I learned on my first track day was to place my trust in those amazing brakes. On those long straights, you can keep the pedal to the floor beyond what your instincts tell you.

Practice makes perfect! I'm gonna be in the SAME EXACT position as you were here since I'm about to track my GT350 for the first time at NYST in July. I'm excited as hell, given it's my first RWD car ever 😂 Waiting on some cup 2's. What mods and tire set up were you running at that time and what track prep/tune up did you have done?
