you are one of the most positive people in my life at this point. you have inspired me to get out there and go for it with all the passion and joy that I can. You made me see that snowboarding even park riding can be absolutely therapeutic.

You’re not the only one that gets philosophical on the slopes. I’m always thinking about deep stuff when I’m riding the lift and then relaxing completely when I’m riding.
@ewatford7 ай бұрын
man, the attitude of gratitude & appreciating just being out there - resonates a lot. I'd give just about anything to get more than 6-7 days/year, "adulting" has just hit hard the last several years. The focus though is if I continue to persevere and be responsible securing the financial future I'll get more freedom eventually. In the meantime, that 6-7 days a year is a lot more than many folks are able to do and I'm very grateful for it. It feels like magic every time, regardless of the conditions.

Bro. I love the vibe you give about just pushing yourself a little bit to get better but ultimately enjoy yourself and make the best out of the slopes. Keep it up you darn one planker! (Coming from a new skiier thats absolutely addicted to the snow and will eventally also learn the one plank) much love man and keep on.

If anyone can single handedly bring more positive and supportive vibes throughout the entire ski and snowboard community it is you Ryan. Out here in NJ the community can get a bad reputation for not always being inclusive but I feel for sure that your vibe can reach others and change their negative perspective on others on the mountain specially those of lower skill levels. As Mt. Creek being our only mountain resort half of it caters heavily to us looking for terrain park riding including TONS of young rippers and it reminds me a lot of your days at highland with multiple people on one feature at a time leading to chaos which can end ugly. Bringing these vibes to the chaos makes it enjoyable, we are all out there for the same reason let's encourage and endure the chaos with a laugh and make sure everyone has a good safe time!

U worded it perfect I just started snowboarding and I feel like I’m being judged most of the time by those who sit and judge you. It’s kinda intimidating ngl I legit stood for 10-15 mins before getting on the chair lift

Love your videos, so chill and just having fun! Ive had days where i do 3 runs and am like think im gonna go. then i find a cool hill or something to work on and then 4 hours later im still there! Ice them knees, i have a neoprene knee brace i pull on when im sore but dont want to miss a day on the slopes, ace bandage helps give it that little extra support you need too! Keep shreddin🤙

Crazy story from this week. I was up in Colorado with family and I’m coming down the mountain at crazy speeds and couldn’t stop in time so I maneuver through a crowd of people in between skiers on their way to the lift and in between the ski racks and the people in between them only to stop right before a restaurant since the floor was made of bricks, it was wild 😂

Hey Ryan, my name is Levi I snowboard at Camelback in PA, and sadly the mountains closed not that long ago, so I just wanted to know some tips maybe on like what I should do throughout the spring/summer, because I am really going to miss snowboarding this year and I am going to be very bored and will be waiting for the winter so I can go back out on the slopes, anyway man love the videos, its awesome seeing how you inspire these kids to try out snowboarding. Ill be tuning in watching your videos the whole year to remember how much I love snowboarding. See ya later Ryan

Best thing to do for knee pain is rest and a sauna because of the heat and rest promotes blood flow to the sore area and avoid putting ice on it because it slows recovery

100% on the judgement and gate keeping. Not at all a fan of those who bring that stuff. There is so much joy to be found, anytime you learn and get those neural networks growing. One legit improvement I think could be made those was a bit more requirement of an understanding of saftey and flow in parks, and like a bit of minimal knowledge/skill to enter the parks. Like, my kids cannot just go swim in the deep end at the community pool, but they can go send the 50'er at Buck. Just a thought that has been bouncing in my head.
