Still confused about the liaison. Is it je suis alle (z sound) or suis alle (no s sound). Most videos I've seen have no s sound linking the two.

if you pronounce "je suis" like "shwee" in informal French, there is no liaison (shwee allé) BUT if you say "je suis allé" then there is a z sound liaison :)
