I can see that the process behind the travel is so hard, really, and it makes me appreciate more the effort that you do every single day in this rockstar life. It's super interesting watching your journey and seeing the parallels with my travels during this same time period. I flew from Costa Rica to Portland, Oregon and my flight got delayed by 8 hours and turned into an overnight flight and a 4 hour layover in the middle of the night in Miami. Originally I was supposed to land on January 16th and would see you all in Portland on the 17th, but then I arrived close to noon on the 17th and since the MAX train service was suspended I had to take the bus and then wait over an hour in the freezing cold for my connecting bus. Thankfully a friend was able to give us a ride to the show later so I still made it even with the hiccups and the terrible weather. I felt bad that so many couldn't make the show cause of the ice, but I'm so glad you all still played. it was incredible and I'm happy I made it in time. I hope the airline paid for your hotel and meals after they oversold that flight! If you didn't know already they are required to when there is a delay of more than 3 hours that is not weather related. I got hotel accommodations in Miami and meal vouchers for the delay but nothing was open at the airport at 5am so I couldn't get breakfast even though I had the voucher. 😭 I hope you do a full Latin American tour sometime cause I would love to see you in Costa Rica! Also you gotta work on your Spanish lol. Bolillos are drumsticks for future reference. 😅
