Fantastic idea with the rubber pads on Trudy. I had a retired thoroughbred that had terrible laminitis, my farrier came up with some pretty ingenious shoes for her. Farriers are as equally important to the health of the horse as a veterinarian. Thank you Sam for showing us your talents. 👍🏻

Watching you transition from Instagram I'm in awe of how brilliant these longer form videos are. I've learnt so much from all your videos and loved seeing you apply an innovative technique to a challenging case. Every day is a school day, you're a true professional by being humble enough to discuss cases with your peers. Your delivery is so natural, clear and the way you explain every step makes it easy to understand. Tom, keep up the good support for Sam, you're so lucky to have a mentor. I enjoy the banter too, work would be more tedious without a bit of banter. I'd love to see a Q&A with you and one with you both, a bit of a get to know you style video. I think it would be interesting to do a video on the evolution of horse shoeing techniques. Have a great weekend guys xx ❤

Sam this was fascinating. She is truly a pretty little mare, such a lady. I'm praying she will improve. This was so worth the time you spent with her. Can you imagine our feet hurting like that all the time, going barefoot and feeling every stone. When I was a young girl, I read James Herriot's books. I thought he was wonderful, his caring and devotion to the animals. You remind me a lot of him. You have that special quality that puts them at ease. Let's them know you are there to help, make life better for them. Some farriers I have seen are so rough, the pull and jerk, well I can't bear to watch. I'm a Nana in the US, North Carolina . My name is Denise, 64 years old. My grandparents on my daddy's side had a farm. I learned so much from my Pa, he valued the animals on his farm. I have always dreamed of going to England. While I'm older and may never make it over, I can watch you tend to your hoofed animals, keep Tom in line😉 and see the beautiful countryside. Hon I do have one question, how long will that glue hold the pad on for Trudy? I hope it's strong & won't be poppin' off. So glad you could help her. I have already subscribed. Til next time Sam...stay well, safe & happy when ya can. They need ya out there.👍💗💗💗💗💗🐴😃
