What is the reason you say the understeer will always be there on street tires? Can't it be dialed out with the right setup without slicks?

Asbjørn Rolfing it could be, but manufacturers will always add a bit of understeer into a car as for the general public it’s easier to manage than oversteer. No one wants a car that has entry oversteer as this would be easier to lose control. Where as if you understeer you continue to brake or slow down untill the front grips back up.
