The Coxless Four will always be my favourite boat to row when it is well set. Not as fast as an 8+, but easier to set. Not as hard as a 2-, but it flows better. Faster than a 4+, and you don't have to carry around a coxswain!

Man I miss rowing, my club was heavily sculling focussed so I never got as much time experiencing the tactile satisfaction of sweeping as I wanted

Great video! Which rower is responsible for setting the pace...who is the one giving the verbal cues...the bow or the stern rower?

The one in bow is usually the one calling the shots, the one in stern is responsible for setting the rhythm.
