Thanks for your feedback Eduardo. A6100 is great, but if you wanna get into videography down the road as well, check out also ZV-E10 - its a really good camera too that could last you a really long time without needing to upgrade. And A6100 is not really discontinued, Sony just halted production of it (and few other cameras) because of the chip shortages. @TomsJurjaks2 жыл бұрын
Hey buddy, thanks! I am not afraid of cold at all, only the rain. The only thing I recommend doing is to leave your camera in the bag without opening it for few hours when you bring it in the house. The reason is to avoid condensation and too fast shift from cold to warm. I usually leave me bag in corridor where it's like +18 and after 3hrs bring it inside. Other than that, its fine for it to be in cold. The only thing is the battery might run out of juice bit quicker in cold.

Hey Bobo, no I don't think you should be worried. Weather sealing works for the rain/humidity, not the cold. If it snows, just wipe the snow off the camera and you should be good. Another thing to remember is not to bring the camera from -15 to +23 indoors, but let it sit in your bag for few hours so the camera adapts to the temperature more evenly

Congrats brother 🔥 A7IV is a beast of a camera. Can't wait to buy one myself too. Let me know your first impressions 💪
@raywalteroutdoors2 жыл бұрын
@@TomsJurjaks my first impression was it was broken 😆 I'm trying to watch unboxing videos to see if any other cameras shipped with the dust curtain closed. I put a lens on and took some photos then when I was taking my 85mm 1.8 off it made a hellish sound. I was able to find the dust curtain setting and it was off. I turned it on and it works fine. I have no idea what that sound was but it wasn't good. Also I'm not used to seeing the sensor move on a gyro and when you tilt it back and forth at times you can hear it moving like something broke inside lol. It's a big step up from the A6000 so I'm sure I'll be impressed by right now I'm afraid of dropping it and/or finding out they have problems and having to send it back already. Hopefully I can get out later this afternoon as of this second I only took photos of our cat. Animal eye focus works!! I am going to lock the eye focus on my wife outside and have her move around and spin to make sure it's picking up and locking that eye. My biggest complaint about the A6000 was the lack of stabilization. I have a hand tremor and a 6 year old that doesn't stop moving so it was hard to get clean sharp photos without a tripod. I think the A7 IV will solve that problem.
@TomsJurjaks2 жыл бұрын
Paying top dollar and finding out that something might be off is definitely upsetting @@raywalteroutdoors but I am so relieved that warranty is solid. I had the A7II and I sent it back a month before warranty ends and Sony refunded me fully no questions asked (after I used the camera for 2 years) so I am always faithful to the brand and know they will do amazing job. But yeah, play around, see what it does and if all is good and keep it if its cool. Remember you have the a6000 as a backup 😁👌

@@TomsJurjaks so with the e-mount there is no need for any adapter? and another question, would you recommend a sony 85mm or a Sigma 85mm? thank you very much for your reply!

Of course you dont need adapter @@EmanueleFrancou adapters are only needed if you want to put Canon lens on Sony camera etc... And Sony 85mm f1.8 is excellent.
