Man, best I can do in an ESF when I'm getting shot at is to Barrel Roll extensively until I accidentally hit another Air unit, if I'm lucky, it would be another ESF and I manage to get a kill.

I hate pilots in this game with a burning passion, and I have to say that was some excellent flying.

your recording looks so smooth!

Couldn't tell you why tbh, aside from both the source video and encoding being in 60 fps.

Fuck yeah man. A2g has become increasingly frustrating to me lately, and this is exactly what I've had the urge to do so often. Only I lack the hours to not crash and burn horribly.

It really doesn't take that much time to be competent enough to slap down your typical a2g nerd, and going up there to personally punish them is so worth the investment. The real time sink comes when you realize you really like flying and want to be able to beat strong a2a pilots too; it took me like 150 hours to be competitive against them. I still have more time spent with just the gauss saw and anchor in my hands than I do behind the stick of any esf though.

Why the hell do I always end up fighting some pro pilot sky knight ultra skilled ESFs when I go up to fly? I never see these shitters flying around like this.
@Chimerathon2 жыл бұрын
I reckon pleb a2g esfs get shot down almost immediately by sweaty pilots as well, which is why you rarely see them unless they're over huge overpop zergs where they're protected by friendly AA. It probably feels like you run into so many strong pilots because they're the only ones gritty enough to stay alive up there for any good length of time. Even I, nearing 200 hours of flight time, still often feel like everyone and their mother is as good or better than me.

@@Chimerathon Dang, the learning curve sounds more like a learning wall

@@bobbywhite5319 as a new pilot myself trust me it is. But the reward for climbing that wall is some of the most sheer fun and power you’ll ever experience I. This game. (There’s also no infiltrators in the air lol)

Bro If You Make A Tutorial For Driving ESF i would be appreciated I really Love ESF but u cant hundle a 1v1 fight .. :(
@Chimerathon2 жыл бұрын
If I were to make an Esf tutorial I would just be retreading well worn ground, others have done it better than I probably could. I recommend "ESF 101" by dudisfludis as a solid starting point, and "hoverfighting basics" by mpkstrofftr. After that it's just flying and dying that will make you a better pilot, no way around it. Optionally, the PREY flight school discord has practically the entire esf community in it willing to answer questions.
