I've watched a friend play helldivers 2 since launch, and have wanted to join him someday in the future. Lets hope that the best case scenario happens and the game can return to greatness, because I WANT to play it and relish in the managed democracy. But for now, I wait with baited breath.

Joel And those who still cared for the Fanbase should just leave Arrowhead and make their own Indie studio. They can make a new Helldivers, a new name, A New Story, Make everything different but play out the same way. Make it like HD2 but more unique. I know people will play it. Alas, all we can do is wait. Watch as Sony either Realize their mistakes or Double down on it. Watch as either Arrowhead Closes its doors, or is forced to Continue on the game despite losing half their player base. All we can do... Is wait.

Sony was the issue, not Arrowhead. They were not the ones in charge of the steam page, Sony was. Arrowhead was not the one who made PSN mandatory, even though it was literally stated to be optional a few days prior

It's more so about how sony has had a large number of security breaches over the years where dozens of millions of people got their data stolen by hackers. And there are a surprising number of countries who now literally will not be able to play the game they paid for because of this, since they aren't able to make a psn account - either at all or without buying a ps5 to do so. People are furious and rightly so
