The opener is Yoasobi?!?! They are probably one of the biggest groups to come from Japan as of recent time! That should explain their production because they’re very well known world wide especially online where communities of Japanese music lovers and tiktokers(unfortunately if you learn the context) just spread their music.
@ronrocker713110 ай бұрын
Why 'unfortunately'? Is it some kind of a sketchy, toxic community on TikTok?
@metrotyler10 ай бұрын
@@ronrocker7131 no, it's just the classic "tiktok makes everything bad" dilemma

haha I paused at 4:50 because i thought the EXACT same thing like: wait, that singer sounds awfully familiar! 🤣
@frostedspark10 ай бұрын
I think it's because TikTokers spread the music around through dances without understanding the contexts of the songs (they're often associated with dark and depressing topics like suicide) and all the while people are dancing like it's describing rainbows and sunshine. Just a lack of consideration and knowledge really.@@ronrocker7131 Hope that helps

Awesome video, really fun and interesting to see what it's like behind the scenes. Would also love to see a video or something about your workout routine, I know it's not really drum related but would be really cool to find out, it's interesting how you can maintain such a great physique whilst touring and playing drums intensely so often 🥁
@mikestix8811 ай бұрын
Thanks for this! Loved all of it and the opener song was insane! And as a drummer myself I can appreciate how on point you were all around and all the kicks! Super solid! I really appreciated seeing the whole routine! This was really cool to watch because I've wanted to play music big time like that since I was young but I never got that however sometimes I think maybe it was for a good reason. Now married for 9 years and 2 little girls and a drum kit at home and working a steady roofing job for the last 4 years in northern Indiana right by Michigan, I get up early 4:10 am everyday and work outside year round and you know Michigan winters. So it was really cool to see your life style!

This feels like the other side of Matt Horns video, where Matt Horns shows you the back stage, the setup of drums, the load in and load out and all the background stuff, this feels like the other side, the side the drummer sees, they show up to play the show, everything is done, they just have to come and do their side of the job. Its so crazy seeing both sides of the coin.
