Once I decided to be a "foiler", I've always done the boat thing - never saw it done- just seemed to be a no-brainer. Thanks for showing it in the video. Easy handling and keeps your cooker a bit cleaner. Good job.

I cut the sides in half and rotate them half way thru cooking. The Red Box is the perfect smoker.

yes works great. just keep it 10-12 #. Works best if you split in two pieces and cook dry with the heat diffuser.
