Boy the wooden racks are hard to get a tight rack. I like the magic rack. Tight rack every time.I have no favourite. But Mika has a really short fuse. Gets pissed a lot. Dennis rarely shows any emotion. I guess that is how he got his name. Robo Cop. Also commentary is great guys. Thanks so much for the upload. No complaints here. Keep up the good work.

Other than the obvious fact that this is a great match featuring a pair of true titans and playing in a great room, I really appreciate the commentators here in this case. So many times folks complain about match commentary, but Nelson Silva has such a great understanding and interpretation of the match - pretty sure I've watched a few other WCS matches with him and Daniel Busch too, and not to take anything at all away from Daniel - but I think Nelson's calls and the way he 'gets' the game in general adds a lot to the enjoyment of watching a great match like this. Just sayin'

Thank you so much Hardway. It's seldom you get positive feed back. Being in the booth with Mr. Bush, is an honor for me. I'm far from being a pro commentator but I'm grateful for having an opportunity to get in the booth with him and learn from him. He's the real deal, very nice person and knows the game really well. He multi tasks like crazy while doing matches. It's really incredible to watch him work. I will say also, it's really easy to miss speak during a match. All commentators in the booth try their best to make pool enjoyable for all. I shoot pool at CA billiards in Fremont, if you live near by please pass by I'll buy you a beer. Thank you again the Grasshopper!!!!!

@23:23 , Mika should have been called on an unsportsmanlike conduct action after flicking the chalk onto the felt with his cue after he missed the 9ball shot. I guess this is what happens when you don't have any referees?

Daniel, the rest of the commentators across this country should take lessons from you on how to do it right. You're superb. Box is the worst.
@stevesawyersdca7 жыл бұрын
I dunno... Personally, I find this video is a lot easier to watch with the sound off. I've never seen commentators who "do it right" find as many extraneous things to talk about while the game's going on as these guys do. Reminds of two guys yakking in a bar after work - and, oh yeah, there's a fairly interesting pool game going on over there.

@24:50 , an unsportsmanlike conduct call should have been made on Mika after he smashes his cue tip against the felt because he scratched on the break. A referee's warning may have straightened his behavior out. It is no fun playing someone with this attitude, even though they cause themselves so much distraction from the game by doing stupid sh!t and lose because of it.

you can literally see the xtra shins attached to the pockets lol...but brunswick is still much easier to pocket balls, if it was a diamond with the same shins it would be much much tougher...the lip of the pocket on diamonds extends another 11/2 inches into the pocket.
@Kentucky_Blue6 жыл бұрын
Billy Cheng i tried playing on Diamonds for about 2 years. The tightness is one thing. But the deep shelves on top of that I just can't take them any longer. I'm back to brunswick and enjoying the game more.

the frustrating thing is not about chalk on the table or not. it's about if the chalk belongs to somebody, and you have to basically 'remember' that you can't/shouldn't use it, or maybe it's shaped weird. and because of that nuisance, it's pretty damn rude.

Mika just missed the 4 ball, his third miss and I replayed his shot - he didn't hit the corner of the pocket, he hit the pocket right. It's the table that defeating Mika. Dennis also missed a shot the same way. These tables should not be used in professional play. In fact, they shouldn't be used at all. So now we have a boring alternate break game with very good players missing shots because of the table. I think I will go to bed - way too boring.

Mika has a bad temper. Totally unprofessional. Kicked the chalk on the table while Dennis was getting ready to shoot. That should have lost him that game. Dennis won the game anyway. Go Dennis. He got all pissed. But he was the one who missed the ball. Grow up Mika. Your supposed to be a professional.
@scottbranson78726 жыл бұрын
He asks people to take the chalk off the table when they're done shooting, I'm not sure he's owed that. That's your thing, Mika.
@lstone2346 жыл бұрын
The one thing I dislike here is your making excuses for Mika. He is one of my least liked players in the game. I seen him trying to cheat Dennis in a straight pool match. And the ref called it. Good for the ref. I lost all respect for him in that match.

I was all exciting to watch a good pool match by two very good players then learned it was alternate break. What a disappointment. Alternate break is boring and focuses on the mistakes the players make to give the table over to their opponent. Winner break is much much more exciting to see a player run multiple racks. It's the game 9 -ball has always been. I just heard one of the commentators say it was voted by the players to be alternate break probably because there were so many amateurs playing. Alternate break is better for the poorer player because it is no fun to just sit there and watch a better player just run racks to the finish. However, it's the fans watching and bringing in the funding making it possible to have the tournament in the first place. They should be considered first and not the players. The NFL, NBA, baseball, bowling and other professional sports run their programs this way to please the fans more than the players. Finally, I wish the commentators would quit visiting, talking about who they know, where they've been and other unrelated things such as stealing chalk off the table and more insignificant trivia and focus on the game while Dennis and Mika are making their shots. As a fan, I want to hear some commentating about the game at hand.

English is Probably NOT Nelson Silva's 1st language. Bad grammar, Saying: The pressure...everybody in this room is intense watching this shot? WRONG! Everybody feels tense or feels the tension... not being intense!... Duh. Mutilating our language hurts my brain from such ignorance. I love the match but poor communication/rambling takes away from relaxed viewing. { By the way... Daniel: At the Beginning of the match you pronounced Denis Or' Cullio?... Cullo in Spanish is the Butt-Hole! so be careful, somebody could get angry! } As least enjoyable watching Mika's skills at work. Thanks.

I'm not worried about people getting angry. And, Nelson did a great job; I'll stand by his performance. When people are volunteering their time to help us out, it's really not polite to be too critical. Maybe you should consider that also.

Donnie. I dont think the majority of viewers would agree with your comment. These guys do a great job and considering that our sport has suffered over the years and pool on tv is pretty much extinct, having live streams like IS ENJOYABLE, even with what you call rambling. Announcers in all sports ramble, tell stories, get emotional. In fact, many of us would agree that is what makes the commentary so "colorful" and nice to listen to. Pool can be boring SOMETIMES, but when matches get exciting or a shot doesnt go as planned and the announcers get into it etc, that is awesome commentary. Not sure where you live or what you are exposed to but we do have good streams in NY and I will tell you that these guys do one of the best jobs I have seen on the web. Regardless, the fact that this is mainly done by people volunteering their time or getting paid small peanuts compared to the amount of energy it takes to consistently talk hours and hours should never be criticized but supported because if all viewers were like you it would eliminate pool from the web. Keep up the good work Nelson and Daniel.
