I have a tip for you. When you powder coat something.and because.of hooks there's a place where it.isn't painted,try using this method to hide.it: Take a pinch of.powder you coated an.object and put.it.on a metal plate,take nitro (yeah,nitro like dissolvent) and pour.it on the powder. then take a toothpick,stir it up and use the toothpick to apply that matter onto the coated part where there isn't powder. It won't be super,but.it will hide the flaw.

I've done a bunch of testing. Rinsing after blasting was a must before I went to this green diamond media honestly. Before I could put water a wheel after blasting and see dirt and dust in the water. It was obvious. Now with green diamond. If I blow it off and put water on it, nothing happens

Hey man I sand and bead blast at work sometimes and was wondering if glass bead would be good for bead blasting faces to save a few bucks when I take the faces to get powder coated and what areas do I need to avoid blasting

you never wanna use glass bead for blasting prior to powder coat. If you have another media it would be better to go that route, assuming its suitable for aluminum. You can blast everything

just getting in to powder costing how do you go about price out the job and did you start at home or in a shop

I called around to local shops to figure out what they charged. When I started out I charged less obviously. I started in a home, with a huge garage, out sourced all my blasting as well.
