Powder Post Beetle

This was a Christmas present for Martin who runs our office. A Mango wood chopping board made in India. Today, 6 months later he saw ring of saw dust coming from out of the wood. He knows how interested we are in wood boring insects, so we got this footage of a live Powder Post Beetle!

sorry for the late reply, it was incubating in the imported chopping board and another three have left now!
