I've never understood how 95% of reactors never realize the pink haired Firelight girl ISN'T Vi until Jinx straight up tells Silco in his office. I didn't think the show was that subtle in morphing between Vi's face and the girl's, but I swear I've only ever seen like 3 reaction channels pick up on it. And I've watched A LOT of Arcane reactions. 😂

Saaaaaame. Not only the face, the firelight girl specifically depicted smaller and weaker than Jinx, so that we get the fact that it's not Vi.

It's not that hard to understand why a lot of people consistently get confused about that part. At this point, a new viewer isn't gonna know exactly what Vi's aged up face is supposed to look like. And they might interpret the quick flashing between the two slightly different faces as showing how much she has changed over the years. It all happens so fast, so i don't blame certain folks for not perfectly registering that it wasn't actually Vi until later. And the fact that Jinx even continues to question what she actually saw earlier doesn't do much to clear things up either lol

They literally just introduced Powder after the time skip and she looks extremely different. They presented it that way intentionally. People don't know how Vi has changed yet, and the first shot of the girl is with Vi's face before the time skip. It's more familiar so it's understandable that people get confused.

13:16 this is actually one of my favorite scenes. Jinx has had one line of dialogue so far… it was “hi”. In this scene she is clearly working with a team to guard cargo. When confronted, all she does is smirk and when sevika looks away, the smirk turns into a look of anger/not afraid of you. It tells us all we need to know about the person she has become with no dialogue. It’s sooo good

The 6 tattoo has three meanings: 1. It looks like Vi`s name in Roman numerals. 2. It`s her prison number: Prisoner 516 as the Warden said to Caitlyn earlier. 3. She was the sixth member of Vander`s gang, Powder was the tenth which was also her age at the time and since 10 looks like X in Roman numerals it also foreshadows Powder growing up to be Jinx.

Fun Fact: The dudes saying "Happy progress day" on the airship are the animation directors aged down, one of them also was thrown out of the Last Drop the first time we see it in Episode 1.And the violinist Heimerdinger`s enjoying listening to towards the end is Ray Chen, the actual violinist for the show who`s an Aussie but has a perfect American accent.

Arcane by far has some of the best animation work in the industry and it really ain’t close. Arcane and Spider Verse are pushing the envelope, and the crazy thing is Hailee steinfeld voices in both.

It's a stretch, but it could be that the VI on her face is representative of her inmate number 516.. V, I, VI. But the real world reason is that she has the VI on her face in the game.

The time skip is 6 years. I know some else said Powder/Jinx is 15 but that doesn't make any sense since she most definitely was not 9 years old in act one. Powder was more like 11 in act one which would make her around 17 now. That means Vi is around 22, same with Caitlin, and Jayce is around 30.

The Firelight girl was too short to be Vi, her hair was a lighter shade of pink and her eyes were brown, Vi`s are grey- blue like Powder`s started out as.
