Powderhorn Mountain Resort | Grand Mesa Colorado January 12th 2022

Skiing at the Powderhorn Mountain Resort located 45 minutes outside Grand Junction on the Grand Mesa. The ski area is located atop the Grand Mesa the 2nd largest flattop mountain in the world, the only other one like it is in China. The area features 1600 archers of well spaced aspen glades and boulder fields littered throughout the resort all served up by four lifts, a high speed quad, two doubles, and a conveyer belt. Accommodations are available at the base and include condos and tiny homes.

My dad has a timeshare at Powderhorn the beginning of March. It’s heaven. Your ridiculous on some of those runs. Props to you. It’s a complete leg burner

Those boulders are for real You mentioned surfing. The word I like to use is wiggle. It looks like you can make those big skis wiggle. It looks like having the longer skis did help you surf over the top of some stuff.

I destroyed those skis that day, when I hit that shark and went down I blew out the side edge, still skiied them for a couple more weeks until things got sketchy

I absolutely love this video! You have really dialed in your camera to give an awesome view of what is going on, with also showing your skis to give the audience a really good feel for how you are attacking the runs. When I got to the parts where you were skiing Mudslide, and Sweet Misery on the West Side I was blown away! So fun to watch! You'll have to come back to Powderhorn next season to get some more footage!
