Thanks for the video, nice review. I was just there and yes the lifts are slow but I love the terrain and 0 lift lines. IndyPass lead us here and we will definitely be back. Way to go ripping those lines!

Finally found a skier on youtube that can actually ski. I've wanted to try out Sunlight but the old lifts are holding me back. If they would invest in a couple new chairlifts would probably bolster skier visits.

I like the old lifts! Its like going back in time! Abasin sold them there old Lenawee triple chair, it will go in next summer and should improve the resort

@@coloradocamera Me too. It just adds to the laidback atmosphere. But the bar in the middle chairlifts are dangerous. Look at the skier getting knocked over by the chair at 4:00: Got to pay attention and look behind you!

what skis are those? Were there many people there? im a big skier and am considering going to mesa university for college, would this be a good home mountain?

Your closest option is Powderhorn, that’s a great area too, only ridden the bike park and did some backcountry skiing on the Mesa but I can tell you that’s a great area as well. At Sunlight the lifts are even older then powderhorn which has a nice high speed quad up the main part and the mountain is littered with fun boulders. Can’t really go wrong with either place bro!

Thats a tough choice both are great small mountains but i'd recommend Sunlight. Sunlight has about double the vertical and longer runs along with some steeper terrain on East Ridge. The town of Glenwood is much more fun that Leadville with hot springs and an amusement park.

I tried to Ski the Sunlight once and the snow just melted Everytime a ray of the sunlight hit....it was more like wake boarding
