Anyone know exactly when this was? Month & year. I’m guessing either December 88 or March 89. Thoughts?

The description says 1989-- the level of skating suggests that its still early in the year, I think your "March" is a good guess.

Anyone else think Sanderson and Washburn were really good enough to be sponsored? Me neither!

Nominay My guess on Sanderson is that he got on Powell pretty early when he had a lot of potential. He’s freestyling in Future Primitive (1985). His bro and sis were skating too I believe. Anyhow, putting him next to the talent of Ray Barbee wasn’t good and then when people like Gabriel Rodriguez show up one day skating at a pro level, he was left in the dust. He did hold a mini-ramp title. I think that was his specialty. But I get what you’re saying.

@@stvnmcl He had decent style as a freestyler, but next time you watch Future Primitive look at the expressions of the other skaters when he's freestyling ... especially Mullen's. They were not impressed.
