That day was awesome..what i caught of it. I played YFL and had a game. Begged my parents to let me skip the game but nope. It still haunts me. I still harp on my parents for it...and im now 48 That was the day i decided im not playing any sports..i was only going to skate and eventually be in a band. I didnt want to miss out on anything like this again for a fucking game that made no difference to me. Hugely influential day

I was there that day as a lil kid, the buzz was crazy with all the talented skaters. I remember them trying to go over the spine and it was gnarly.Im pretty positive a few made it,Frankie Hill was going for it.This was like a movie in real life. It was awesome to see, thanks for the flashback

Thanks Powell for uploading this old footage, it gave me flashback of things I haven't seen or felt since those times. I grew up observing that whole era skateboarding in my backyard.

Hey anyone remember Powell peralta the INDOOR skate park In Santa Barbara in the 90s? I thought it was called the zone. Can anyone remember the name? It was indoors tho. Not out.
