I'm like why not for less 650 bux I have 2 currently wired at 4 rising to 6.4 minimum and turned down a tad probably 700 per sub on music and they are hanging in there....barely get alil stinky so I have to turn it down here and there but again I think I might get mid 150s and for less than 700 dollars worth of subs that's not bad lol. I have 2 mega brutes I've goin to rebuild into 24s so. But this should be a fun lil project to hold me over

Had 4 12 from walmart hooked up to two Audiopipe 1800 at 1/4 ohm each I fried the amp be for blowing a sub. over a year and they're still floating around the city somewhere

I had the 12" 4ohm one rated 1,200w rms, wired to 2ohm and I had a skar rp 1500 amp that pushed 930w+ rms at 2ohms @ 14.4v. And with certain songs, that'd jump to over 15v and the sub handled it very well. So I think it's very possible that they can handle 1,200w rms.

You can wire it down to 1.4ohm it's not going to hurt your amp because you're never going to see 1.4 box rise will instantly take care of that

Currently running 2 of the blue gothik 12s in 5cu ft of box space @ 34hz with about 950watts RMS for about a year now and the best I can do is make them stink. They are the stinkiest subs I've ever beat to death. I've been beating 1 of the subs for 3 years until I upgraded everything. They won't die. I can't kill them.

the sub will suprise you, the leads can handle a lot more than it seems but the frame is the reason for the cost. I agree that this would be better as a daul 4 ohm but it PA offers a GW124 for the Wal-Mart francise. these subs has that old school vibe to them and I honestly like it as a great starter sub.

It’s hard to say! Probably my favorite sub I’ve had so far is the American Bass E-1244. Incredible quality and value for the price. And I’m planning on getting a mofo and a bamf to compact them

GW-124 at walmart I think is a better deal for people trying to get loud. Only like 7 dollars more and it's a 12 inch rated at 1200W RMS. Not sure if it'll do that, but it's been a fine subwoofer for me.

The GW3 is just the upgraded version of this. It has dual 2 ohm, same magnet, and a copper voice coil. The Walmart one could also have a copper VC, it says the GW3 has it, but doesn't say much about the Walmart version on Power Acoustik's site

Face the woofer toward the trunk. Run the sub in parallel you will get 2 ohms with a few feet of wire.

And we(mofo nation) have seen them take a bit over 1k rms clamped for a very short time 😁😁 also seen mofo type x’s take a bit over 2k rms for quite a while too. Guys name is Conrad and hit over a 160db forget what class but he had 6 mofo 15s I believe. Clamped roughly 22-2400 rms on each sub and did a 161.2(I believe that was his score but don’t quote me)

Parker i have to say that this gothic isnt even as good as the first one, the motor on the one in your video is smaller, and the basket is different the older ones that look more like the mojo. I have like 6 off the older ones and i wish you could review one off them because i was running my audiopipe 1800d into 2 off these at 2 ohms and yes they got a little stinky but i played it all day and the subs took it like a champ. Way better than those newer ones the dust cap isnt even as spungy as the one you was pushing in thats a joke.

Better to buy the MOFO x series, they hit pretty good for being an entry level sub, got a teammate running 4 MOFO 12"s on 2 P.A. BAMF "3Ks" really only doing about 1k clean but it does the job and in the rear of a dakota it is pretty surprising.

If you want a final impedance of two ohms you’ll need to get the 4 ohm version. Look up a video on how to wire a DVC sub and you’ll better understand

Those sub can handle the power my nephew had 2 12 in his car 2500 watt 1200 rms. And we're running it a Planet Audio 2500 watt amp with no problems thay hit... But at 4 ohms it only pushing 989 rms to both. He eat to upgrade the amp that can push 2000 rms at 1 ohm.

I have these subs and contrary to popularity you get two you can get a decent hit off of 2K but right now Im at 1K which I told you in your previous video Im going with the destroyers. Gothics are great starter subs and for real way better than the kicker CVR's! Better bottom!

You would be surprised on how much Power Acoustik subs can handle.... Yeah they cheap but they ain't no push overs.. the mofo is a beast in it's own right but if your gonna go power Acoustik go with the BAMF sub and yes it can legitimately handle the 3500 max I had one on a hcca 4k and it took it.. but I don't use the 15" much anymore I'm using my Hcca 12"s now but not a bad sub at all for the 130 bucks

@@ParkerTheBasshead you can pick em up for around 130 which is a 12" it's a 3500 watt max sub and it can definitely handle it the mofo is a really good one to. I used to have two mofo 12"s and they hit really hard for the $$ they are worth it. The BAMF is their top tier sub. But if you want something that gonna last a long time I'd go with sundown or a orion Hcca or the new Xtr pro subs honestly.

I have a BAMF 12 dual 2 ohm hooked to an old school Memphis 1000D that's rated for 1100w at 1ohm. I did do a gentle break in. It handles the power I don't know about the 1750wrms it claims but I think it would if it was clean power. Its been taking this power since the beginning of summer. I'm happy with the 110 I spent.

Mike DiCicco the bamf amps are awful and no were near true power . any amp that puts there max watts is usley a cheap under performer. When you see an amp that showes max its usley half of what it says at its verry best but usely worse. Go watch you tube amp dyno test of that amp. I tell you this if you want an amp thats the best bang for youre buck. Get a hiffonics. They are preatty cheap and true power. They last forever and dont clip. Ofcorse just like any amp you have to have it tuned and set up properly. But yea bro you should check tem out. I promis you will probably never buy another amp.
