The dread of any table is seeing atreides and bg consider an alliance. Toxic alliance is probably the most polite term I've heard used to describe it.

Atreides can help Bene Gesseret find the Laguna, leading to the most powerful combat ability in the game. "Don't play a Shield" "Which attack are you using?"

Bene / Emperor can be a frustrating combo, and I often find Bene / Fremen to be almost as dangerous to battle as Bene Atreides, but yeah, this is an S tier alliance.

My toxic alliance is Space Guild and Tleilaxu 🤷♂️

It is epic combination. Every faction need to pay for space travel and every faction use free revival.

Jack, unrelated question. What mic are you using? sounds grrrreat!
@jackredathewarp2 жыл бұрын
Just the built-in mic. Keepin’ it real.

All the board games are probably acting as decent bass-traps/acoustic-treatments, which make any microphone sound so much better than when in a small reverberant space.

I'm currently reading Dune, and I found that Reverend Mothers can neutralize poisons. That would be "very thematic for the game" and maybe, very OP for the BG?
@jackredathewarp Жыл бұрын
Full Reverend Mothers can, but they only account for a small percentage of the BG
@edwardmaldonado5755 Жыл бұрын
@@jackredathewarp Exactly, but I understand the advantages, or most of them, as something that comes from the faction leader. Just as prescience comes from Paul Atreides, the neutralization of poisons could come from the Reverend Mother Mohiam 🤔

@@jackredathewarp I know, but I like to imagine that there could have been his unique one-time karama power. By the way, great job with the information, and thanks for enriching the Dune's Universe.

Yet it lacks elegance because of the analogous projectile weapon lack of application (not to mention some special weapons). Voice does a more than adequate job of covering for that. “Do not use poison” ends up satisfying the result.
