You make a good point. I am wondering if either or both fighters becomes more conservative than usual. More cautious. I found this to be the case in Crawford v Madrimov, and it made for a fight that I was not expecting. As for this fight, despite my being a big Bivol fan, I think its 50/50.

I think what one people don't recognize is Beterbiev is great with timing and counter punching, and that pendulum step is always in the same tempo, if Beterbiev manages to recognize that , he'll be able to counterpunch when bivol does the pendulum step, which can be really dangerous for Bivol, this should be an amazing fight, can't wait.

@@rauliuxaa his pendulum is not always at same tempo, its filled timing changes and feints. Never the less, as someone already pointed out Beterbiev is no stranger to the Soviet style. Both fighters can use it. Bivol goes in and out of it. Bivol fan, but Im 50/50. This is not a predictable fight.

Bivol doesn’t have any head movement, and sometimes he keeps his hands up and as seen in the Canelo fight, he was hit on the arm, body, and chin. Beterbiev will drive Bivol to the ropes a few times, and measures and hit Bivol in the body, and lands a left hook while Bivol is covering up. Beterbiev by 6th-11th knockout. If Bivol can fight like Ali he would win, but his in and out style is his downfall.
