nosiy motor! I think the reason you couldn't surf it cuz it could be that the lift travels quite fast with the powerdisc. the powerdisc sounds powerful even though you were trying to surf the lift, it could be violent whilst traveling on top when surfing leading why it wouldn't move when surfing

KONE USES CWL. SWITCH THE PHONE OFF SO THAT YOU CAN SURF THE LIFT AS SAFE AS POSSIBLE WITHOUT FAILING

It was floor -1 but it said lower ground floor which is weird. It should say floor minus 1 like most ecodiscs do. The motor is also whole lot WORSE than a first gen ecodisc.

It just depends what announcement is set on menu 3-3. If it is not locked out you can change the announcement yourself. And the motor sounds fine to me. A PowerDisc is a 10:1 counterweightless lift, and is completely different and not comparable to an Ecodisc.

Setting 3 - 4. 0 = off, 1 = direction announcements only, 2 = door announcements only, 3 = both direction and door announcements

@@benolifts OK thanks, I think you should make a video of you going into one building and see if the Ecodisc say doors opening and doors closing or not, make sure you enter the settings you've sent to me because you're a lift engineer or something. Just try and open the logic cabinet and put the settings onto 3
