Power down emergency! Ford Pro Power fails…

With a 16 hour blackout, we were faced with a significant set of problems to solve.
Some solutions worked like our Yamaha gas generator and Ecoflow Delta solar generators.
Our F250 with Pro Power didn’t. Not a huge deal and possibly operator error, but systems need to be checked and tested.

Indeed, especially in the cold temperatures, one has got to be prepared. We seem to be having power outages more and more often with each passing year.

Nice video. Always need to be prepared. I do have a question- with all the power things you got running to keep things working wouldn’t it be easier to have your house wired ware all you have to do is plug that into a generator? We do that and it runs the whole house

It’s something we’re looking into for sure, but, we also use all of this stuff at our off grid cabin so it’s always charged, gassed up and accessible. It’s not a burden to play with this stuff.

I’ve never seen one of these work as advertised. Mine was DOA. Seems like all they do is tell you they require service :)

I would be interested in knowing if the problem occurs if you're plug with an eco flow in between

The Ecoflow was disconnected during this test. Sump pump direct to truck. Showed an instant ground fault circuit failure

it says grounding issue.... check your cables maybe unplug and re plug
