VR6 is a NATO specification for 30 caliber rifle fire, IED blasts, and EMP bursts. It can stop anything up to a 6.5 Creedmoor or 300 blackout

VR defined by BRV 2009 standard specifies protection level certification of the entire vehicle (previous armor classifications describe protection level of materials). VPAM (Die Vereinigung der Prüfstellen für angriffshemmende Materialien und Konstruktionen) is a European certification body that tests materials and constructions. VPAM has 14 protection levels instead of the previous 7 (B1-B7). Since there are more VPAM VR levels than the previous B levels, there is some confusion, since they do not overlap number for number.

CarGuy66 The big thing is that most VR7 armoured cars do 0-60 in around ten seconds meaning you can tank a bit more but it won’t have the speed which this has as it does it in only 5.9 seconds. In terms of difference, it’s definitely there but with the volatility of attacks, sometimes getting out of there quick is better than being able to survive one more round to the glass. I suppose it’s up to the buyer to decide what they like more but put their trust into but as a general thought, all official armoured cars are good and none really compete with one another.

My X5 is the reason I switched to Tesla. Electric is the future, and headache-free, and BMW's have enormous problems with the maintenance, especially malfunctioning EGR and huge maintenance costs. It's a joke. They are the brand destroying the idea of "quality german cars". The only ones left are Audi and Mercedes. It's like my friend told me the other day "Phil, IWC's are ok watches...they're the BMW's of the watch industry. They're not the Rolls Royce, which would be Patek"
