1 Corinthians 14:26-35 Verse 26 is addressing the coming together of the church and where each one has 1. Psalm; 2. Teaching, 3. Tounges, 4. Revelation / prophecy, 5. Interpretation of Tounges and prophecy Verses 27 & 28 addresses speaking in Tounges and interpretation of Tounges in the church. Verses 29 to 32 addresses prophesying and interpretation of the prophecy. Now remember the author has not addressed psalms and teaching but we all know that women are permitted to sing psalms so that has no need to be addressed. That is why Paul addresses teaching last in verse 33 to 35 and specifically clarifies that woman should not speak or be speakers in the church during service. Woman can sing, speak in Tounges, prophecy but not address / teach the whole body of Christ. Please note that Paul in verse 33 uses the word churches(plural), therefore the message was intended not just the church in corinthians but all the churches of the saints.

Blessings Sisi. Lena idinga a Personal encounter with the HOLY SPIRIT, I will talk for myself. I do cover my head when going to the House of GOD. It was not based on the scripture about the Corinthians but The LORD spoke to Me personally. One of the things I have leanerd in My journey with the LORD is, the Bible is a mirror, meaning, things which we see and experience here are not new but has been experienced before. ( Apostle Paul could only put it as a message only to help them for they did not have the HOLY SPIRIT to talk to them ) HE explained why I am supposed to cover my head and yes it had to do with My Husband which in the eyes of Men in flesh He is not but in HIS plan Yes.... A long story for another day. The LORD is sooooo Goood!!!

Jesus never forbid his disciples to call anyone TEACHER, but he forbidden them from calling anyone FATHER, and that is what Roman catholic do. secondly, the fact that James, Peter and John never address the woman issue in the church, that does not disapprove what Paul ha said. Paul is our Apostle, not peter, not James, not John. Let us just follow the bible guys.... Siba, are we still having the Apostles in the church today???

Entrepreneurship and church leadership are not managed the same. The one is God appointed and the other is self appointed. So you can't compare the two. Same applies comparing worldly things(education ability, money making ability) with godly things (leadership & pastoral ability). It's very sad to see someone compare apples to oranges and be utterly convinced within himself and convincing to the less spiritual discerning individuals, that they are right. Funny though how the bishop went around the question of what happens when the God structure of headship is upended. Too much half truths from this bishop😠. By the way you should go back and look and listen more clearly to Joyce Meyer(ironically she is a very good example of how wrong it is for women to be pastors). Have you seen how Dave sits there in the front row all timid and submissive and Joyce up there in the pulpit usurping authority over Dave and rest of the men in attendance and sharing with the world every detail about Dave. Dave this, Dave that and Dave just sits there like one of her naughty children grinning shamefully. Dave has slid from being the head right down to being the tail in that relationship. 1 Timothy 6:10 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. Dave has pierced himself with many sorrows, for he left his position of leader of his house. When Joyce Meyer speaks about personal stuff you get the sense that at the homefront she also leads and Dave is support or subservient.

There no scripture that permit a woman to scripture nevertheless there no scripture where a woman is Preached.even God have never called a woman to preach not once. Here are the scripture. 1st Timothy 2:12-14 clear script Isiah 3:12 God complain about women leaders ecclesiastes 7:27&28 King Solomon found only one man but women NONE I Timothy 3:1 - 2, "This is a true saying, (This lets us know, any other saying apart from this true saying is a lie!). If a MAN desire the office of a Bishop, HE (Not She) desireth a good work. A Bishop then must be blameless, the HUSBAND of one wife, (It didn't say the wife of one husband!) vigilant, sober, of good behavior, given to hospitality, apt to teach." Listen to what Paul said, "Let your women keep SILENCE IN THE CHURCHES: For it is NOT PERMITTED unto them to SPEAK; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, LET THEM ASK THEIR HUSBANDS AT HOME: For it is a SHAME FOR WOMEN TO SPEAK IN THE CHURCH." I Corinthians 14: 34 - 35. I Timothy 2: 11 - 14, "Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. for Adam was first formed, then Eve. and Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
