Power King 5" wood chipper review

Hello, I’ve been looking between the chipper you have and the equivalent one by DK2. I’m interested why you chose the Power King version. Your input can help me, now I am split between the two of them. Thanks.

I had a tough time deciding on this machine over the DK2 6" chipper because on paper they are basically the same machine. I'm pretty sure I chose this unit because it was a better deal at the time and I got a extra set of blades and a cover for it. Also I liked how the Powerking one had the safety button on the top and the handles on top of the loading chute. My neighbor tried out my chipper and ended up buying the Dk2 machine. I bet you would be happy with either woodchipper. I do like how the Dk2 chipper has a built in steel toolbox, but to be honest I've never had to use my toolbox.

Not impressed that chipper should drag that material in. You shouldn't have to keep pushing it in.

I'm impressed. And I own the machine so I reckon that's what matters. For 2000$ I don't think it has much competition. If you want to spend a lot more coin you can get something faster and larger. For the price it's perfect for small rural properties.
