I think the reason they use Gold for rewards rather than Nitra is that in the main game, Nitra is most often use for resupply drops...but I get your point, since both are used for upgrades maybe quests should give both (split the two that way you will still have to mine for resources in the level).
@ChumblesMumbles9 ай бұрын
For the M1000, the 'thick boy' upgrade really shines if you also had the 'bigger mags' upgrade you passed on at level 6. Bigger mags doubles your magazine size, and thick boy then combines that doubled amount into a single shot, resulting in massive overkills and massive explosions with the scout sharpshooter class.

I’ll give it another shot, maybe I didn’t get enough fire rate or reload, cause I got worked the last time I picked it. Couldn’t kill quick enough.

It reaches Hazard 5 played *200.000 damage* if well played & focused and not like here threated like a secondary gun. Big mistake was not to go for COLD weapons and esp. the *Boomstick* shotty with cold overclock, combined with going for all weapons with max reload, you *perma freez* in a cone the whole front. Boomstick shotty is the best cold freezer InGame, which you as char can control and hold. COLD is key and Boomstick shoty & M1000 is the best you can ever have. No weapon comes close to it. ;)

@@OHRyePlayswhy knockback instead relaod speed? 1/4 faster reload? That means more damage. Knockback is NOT needed. You want to use it as a *Railgun* buddy not as a secondary *support* weapon ;)

I think it would be great if the devs gave you 1 or 2 nitra and gold for every quest item you pick up above and beyond the required ones. EDIT: Or instead of giving you a set amount to pick up, you just pick up as many as possible and you get paid an amount per item when you hit the store.
@christopherholfeld81379 ай бұрын
From everything I’ve seen the games already easy enough and nitra tends to focus weapon upgrades. To add a nitra quest I think it would need to be a completely seperate quest at harder then normal difficulty. So you can get like 12 bolo caps and 8-10 flowers for the nitra quest.
@christopherholfeld81379 ай бұрын

@christopherholfeld81379 ай бұрын
@@OHRyePlays already easy to get two level 18 weapons a fun extra free nitra would make that even easier. By hazard 4 you’re averaging 50+ levels a run. 36 of them too weapons and 14 general ones. And then gold and nitra lets you change them. Two level 18 weapons will clear hazard 4 for sure. Yet to see many hazard 5 runs hit KZbin.

If you take the double magazine Overclock for the M1000 then Thick Boy is the way to go. It combines all bullets into one, which means that the regular rifle has 6, while the Overclocked double-magazine one has 12, thus taking your damage to ridiculous levels. The only thing you need for a Thick Boy M1000 is reload speed, as the magazine holds only one bullet, making it a bolt-action sniper rifle. The damage would already be big enough without any damage upgrades. With reload speed you can drop the reload time to a respectable 1-1,5 second for 5000 damage on average per shot per target. If you prefer the sawed off variant, then you will need to upgrade both damage and fire rate to make it viable. You also lower its range, so you will have to stay closer to the swarm to use it effectively.

You should really give thick boy another chance. I had the m1000 as my main gun with weaker weapons and I could literally stand still and kill hordes of bugs per shot because of the exploding overkill. It was so satisfying but it got boring. That's how strong it was lol. It's worth doing it once. You need cryo grenade at the very least though.

I don't play the game but I watch a lot of drgs and I have observed a few things. If you're going m1000 don't take fire rate and go for the big boy overclock if you're doing the overkill build. It also seems that due to rare magnets pickup radius is more efficient than xp increases. I'm quite possibly wrong because I don't play myself so please correct me if that's the case. I would also enjoy seeing a run where you take no global upgrades only weapon upgrades and no paint jobs. I want to see how that compares. And another run with only paintjobs and global upgrades. It'll be interesting for science 😅

I am thinking for the build you are going with the overkill, the Thick Boy overclock would really be the way to go here. Since you stopped getting many Overkill procs as the levels got higher and the enemy HP increased, Thick Boy was about your only chance to keep getting those procs.

even if quests doesn't give nitra, at the shop between levels you should be able to exchange nitra to gold and vice versa, even if at a half rate or sth
