Here are some Deep Rock Galactic Tips and Tricks that you may not know - these are designed to help you play a little better and ultimately enjoy the game much more too! This should help beginners get a little better at the game and start to climb those hazard difficulties!

This is THE MOST IMPORTANT tip out of all of them! BY FAR the MOST important tip! You can still press "V" in this game to shout "ROCK AND STONE!" just like the original :P

Nice vid. You are right, Like in its predecessor, Deep rock galactic, minerals spawn in specific biomes, so if you want to farm an specific material u should go to its biome. And the round mineral u dont remember the name is Eno Pearl.

No you can find every mineral in every biome some may have more or less of some minerals

You are 100% speaking my language when you talk about how min-maxing a game has started to suck the fun out of them. I play another game called Pokemon sleep and I specifically avoid trying to get the absolute perfect best everything, because it's just such a chore, and I like deep rock galactic survivors because there's a good variety of builds once the weapon overclocks are unlocked. And that is my biggest problem with the game, then you don't get any overclocks until you get a weapon to level 12, which makes it really tedious to get better weapons.

I love the round ball things. Thank you for your video. I turned 40 last year and what you said in this video struck me hard man. " The more I try to min-max the less I enjoy the game". It's insane how true it is, the time it consumes is just ridiculous.

The big thing about speed and the Dreadnought is pickled Nitra. Almost every time I pick that trap up, the boss literally outwalks me lmao

Great video! Nice tips! Since the game is single player, I don't feel the pressure of having to min-max. I am having fun and grinding permanent upgrades as I go. I am also trying to not play too many hours per day to not reach the end of the content.

Well if you have played Deep Rock Galactic it is obvious that certain bioms have more of the meta resources. There was also some lore behind it why certain resources are found in certain areas.

Ive only got 100 hours on the OG deeprock galactic on PC and I bought this game for my steam deck and its pretty damn fun.

I bought the game couple of days ago and discovered that at a certain level crystals begin to be issued in minute quantities, you need to grind to improve anything. There is a clear feeling that the player’s progress is being delayed, which is not very pleasant. Well, to add - I liked leveling up as a driller, since he has a buff that was unavailable at the beginning - digging speed, which is very convenient. Respect for the last section - in our online game (crossout), people who are looking for fun managed to start their progress 3-4 times anew, instead of searching for meta. I did the same in F-76 (3 starts from scratch)

Ive been losing a lot on Hazard 2 and something didnt seem right, because its only Hazard 2 out of 5. So I watched this guide to see what I could do better.

Really seems like there are just some weapons that aren't worth it. I kept trying to make the magnum work on gunner and it just kinda sucks no matter what. The minigun isn't bad, but is TERRIBLE for the boss because you can only shoot forward so it's a pain to dps. On the other hand, the Thunderhead cannon singlehandedly carries entire runs by itself and there's a lot of strong weapons that are easy to get like Jury Rigged Shotgun, etc. Also the mechanic of having to dump 12 levels into a new weapon just so you can properly use it on a later run REALLY slows down early progression in the game. Once you get a lot of weapons fully unlocked it gets a lot easier.

Only thing better than discovering a new game is building the most op build and making a drink while the game plays itself since you became a god in game.

haven't seen your vids since Eve echoes. like 3 years ago. thought I was subbed. I suggest you try torchlight infinite. Its pretty good for ARPG games and is on mobile. They have new mini season in 2 days. Crafting is better than d4 has loot filters that are easy to share and create just like LE. has ingame build guides/layout/templates that are easy to share. This is something very unique to this game. No other ARPG has it as easy. has proper ingame trading. might be like LE. Hard to tell as I havent tried merchant guild yet. Basically the creators looked at POE and trying to bring it to mobile with many QOL improvements asked by POE players for ages. However it doesnt have the content of POE.

yeah played it last night and was the same way about oh shiny, epic and he was like I like to waste my money on how the weapon looks. I finally started to read what it was I was picking. Luck is probably the best for starting, Health, and armor are also important. Never thought about first aid kit. But I just keep playing the same missions over and over with the scout.

Does gaining levels on a weapon do anything beyond bringing it closer to an overdrive ability? Picking +2 levels upgrades seem pretty weak if all they do is bringing the weapon a fraction towards overdrive for the cost of a normal upgrade. Also, is +% firing rate and reload speed normalized so that they have roughly the same DPS increase as the same +% damage? If the numbers did what they said then you initially would need one upgrade in firing rate and one in reload speed to get the same DPS increase as one damage increase upgrade. Is there any place describing which sources of +% damage are additive and multiplicative? Multiple specific weapon upgrades clearly are additive, but is +% Kinetic/Fire damage added or multiplied?

Great questions and I homely don't know, Resources for the game are thin on the ground right now. The +levels are actually good because overdrives are very powerful and you usually won't max out more than 1 gun on a run so taking the plus level upgrades allows you to potentially reach first level overdrive on other gunsn

Movement speed on the pre game purchase makes the exploder bugs muchhhh easier as well as dodging the final boss leap. you didn't mention that from what i saw but i noticed it a lot after 4-5 points into that pre game buff. interesting certain levels have more common menu resources, i've just played hazard 2 first level about 100 times to upgrade my menu buffs. there doesn't seem to be any true reward from doing a higher hazard which bums me out.

in out of game upgrades and market, are gold and minerals resetting after every new play or you can hord minerals and gold?

If you mean the minerals you mine, yes, you keep them (exception being nitre). I'm honestly not sure how the credits work....I seem to have a lot after every run, but no idea how it's calculated. I don't ever seem to be short of cash to make the upgrades I can do, since the mineral requirements are getting higher and higher, preventing me from spamming upgrades

Just use the drop pod to permablock it. You can stand on one side and it won't path around it -you almost did it in the video. Makes Dreadnoughts a laugh.

can you still upgrade the weapon after it hit 12? you still get the choices for them but does it do anything?

Since no one answered, hitting 12 with a weapon for the first time permanently unlocks overclocks so it'll be better if you use it on another run. You can go beyond 12 though, and you can go beyond 18 on guns with overclocks unlocked.

With the Nitra=crit% Supply drop being in the game early on, it's kinda troll not going for crit dmg tbh

Decreases move speed though which can be a pain. Also I often like spending my nitra to unlock weapon overdrive asap. Maybe once your going for haz 4/5 runs

I've been using the Scout class with the crit%/Crit dam% bonus, and I love taking this artifact. I just need to keep a minimum level of nitre that I don't spend beyond, like 50 or 60. Anything over that, I spend on shop@@Excoundrel
