Please animate the bit from episode 365 about movie villains going to hell at the end of movies. The bit starts at ~ 19 min. This is my favorite bit they've over done, and I'm surprised that there has not been an animated version of this. I think seeing an animation of Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern going to hell at the end of Home Alone then escaping hell after a battle with Satan at the beginning of Home Alone 2 would be hilarious. I would love to see this done.

In the book the movie's based on Soylent is made out of Soybeans and Lentils, hence the name. Hollywood went and added a dumb surprise twist to a really interesting and engaging book because Hollywood is dumb.
@TJForceIX4 жыл бұрын
@keagan Minogue yeah, that's kinda the point. But I guess if you prefer your stories to be about power trip defy-all-odds supermen, sure. Though, I would contest that stopping the creation of Soylent Green in the film doesn't actually improve anything, it actively makes things worse. Not only are they stopping hungry people from getting the near impossible to get protean they need to survive, people aren't being slaughtered to make the Soylent, so more people are living, making there be more mouths to feed. Instead of some people dying to make food, everyone is doomed to a slow, agonizing starvation. Personally, I found it way more interesting to see people just trying to get by in a distopia. Way more real and gives you more room to imagine how you'd fair in them, 'cause, let's be real, none of us would actually be Katniss, we'd be some no name shmuck keeping our heads down.
@ryles50696 жыл бұрын
The name for Soylent actually comes from the novel _Make Room! Make Room!,_ on which _Soylent Green_ is _loosely_ based. In the novel, which is dystopian thriller about overpopulation, soylent is a meat substitute made from soy and lentils. The idea of cannibalism was introduced in the film, which bears very little similarity to the source material. To the company's young target demographic, "Solyent" is more reasily associated with their product than either the movie or the novel. This much is evident from Google results for the term "soylent," which almost exclusively turns up results for the meal replacement.
