My father was a 19 year old boy who was a USNAVY WWII VETERAN who was stationed in Okinawa, Leyte, Ulithi, The Phillipines and Shanghai in 1944 to 1946 during a bloody, hideous and terrifying war. Bombing Hiroshima was the only way to stop the Japanese, because they would not surrender. Comparing WWII to a military action is ridiculous.

The bombs being dropped in Gaza are not anywhere near as powerful as the little boy. If they were the death toll would be in the hundreds of thousands. The bombs being dropped are mainly Guided munitions, and bunker buster bombs which are guided by lasers and gps and are used on buildings with terrorists not civilians. (Unless civilians are in the same building as terrorists)

With what, 1/10th of the deaths attributed to the bombing of Hiroshima? Israel literally going out of it’s way to avoid casualties in Gaza. Now this isn’t to absolve them of the crimes in the West Bank… however I believe in being rational and looking at the facts as well as giving myself a historical perspective. And, well.. the fact is, is that even though the explosive power dropped by Israel is LARGER than the power of the atomic bombs dropped in Japan (at this point equal to both bombs dropped in Hiroshima and Nagasaki…) the casualties are not even 1/10th of the casualties inflicted by the atomic bombings referenced… Still large numbers, and definitely still tragic and preventable (if only Hamas had not done the October 7th massacre that lead to this war…)… but if you actually consider the massive Gazan population, and consider equivalent bombings like Hiroshima… it’s *very* clear that this is not “Indiscriminate” with no regard for civilian casualties… I’d even go as far to say that it’s the opposite- it’s actually impressive that SO FEW have been killed when you consider the amount of explosives dropped on Gaza.

America did not warn them to get out of the area before dropping the bombs and they dropped a NUCLEAR bomb on a strictly civilian area that did not have bunkers of weapons and terrorists underneath.
