This instructional completely reshaped my philosophy on controlling the bottom player. Cheers B-Team 💪🏾

@WhtMike20062 жыл бұрын
@@yazanalhelou not missing the point. I know it’s about the pins. I highlighted these moments by request for a few specific things I’ve been asked to note in Craig’s game unrelated to the rides, turks, cradles, pins, etc. The comment isn’t for anyone else but it’s public if anyone wants to use it

having bought craigs power pins instructional, its great an useful to see him use those techniques here in live rolling. recognising the turk, claw , shelving the legs an other concepts proper help for me to learn them i think. great video, even better when i can recognise the stuff iv seen rather than just guessing. great stuff

@@justindunning352 i didnt realise he had a new one out. i may if it goes into daily deals and theres a 45% discount code haha. im a member of the grapplers guide site an they just put up a massive amount of videos on wrestling up, so probably have a look at that first.

hell yea by far one of the most applicable instructional, i studied it and broke it down and its been working. The true tell is when i went cross training and kept 2 different black belts over 215 pinned on bottom a whole 5min round. im a 3year blue. 185lbs. training 5 years now.
@Kirk690_0 Жыл бұрын
@@dereknueveuno thats great man , iv had a broken hand for the last few months so havnt had chance to grapple yet since iv watched the instructional but it all makes sense an I'm looking forward to trying the stuff next week. Gonna watch it again an take notes.iv got loads of bjj fanatics instructions but I think the ones that explain an demonstrate the best are craig and neil melanson, I feel I remember alot of their stuff compared to others.

the feet placement at 3:55 is a super intelligent play. Right leg has their right leg elevated, and the sole of the left foot 'palming' their right leg shuts down their ability to rotate. Most people would just go a conventional belly down mount or take the back, but this alternative foot position really forces the guy on bottom to stay stuck face down.
