Every production always has secrets and curiosities that occur over the years. Power Rangers has been around for 30 years, so the curiosities are many and in this video we are going to present you the most impressive ones. There are secrets for those who are not so fanatic of the series, but there are also secrets for those who are very fanatic.
Power Rangers is an American television series and franchise of the tokusatsu genre, version of Super Sentai Series, a Japanese television series of the same genre. It has been broadcast since 1993. From 2002 to 2009, the franchise was owned by The Walt Disney Company, but was reacquired in 2010 by Haim Saban, its creator and original driving force between Mighty Morphin and Wild Force (the latter created early in production before the sale of Saban Entertainment to Disney). On May 1, 2018, it was confirmed that the franchise was bought by Hasbro.

Disney moved production to New Zealand in 2003 (after Wild Force) and in 2023, Hasbro announced it would be moving out of New Zealand

The Yellow Ranger being a man in Japan is the reason Trini doesn't wear a skirt. This is also the case for every Yellow Ranger from Lost Galaxy to Wild Force and the case for the Green Ranger in Dino Fury.

That's also because in the Japanese versions of the show most of those characters are guys. Trini's counterpart in Japan is Boi (yeah lame name I know).

I always wondered why A Squad wore a version of In Space helms (with moto cross looking armour), while B Squad got a new helm and suit, I would have thought you kit your best team out with the latest gear. I'm sure that the MMPR set would have had a lot more discrimination if a disabled person was on set. For example, I'm sure the female cast and crew suffered some form of it as well. It was, unfortunately, the it thing in that time, still is, an unfortunate realisation of man's need to discriminate to feel superior over others. I know Wild Force Red's actor was asked to return to play Deker in Samurai and Super Samurai. I know if Zedd was allowed to stay as he was seen in his debut, the story would have been darker, and he may have even won a lot earlier. I believe in the sentai characters like Ninjor were meant to be morphed states and not robots.

@@shelbybayer200 Why'd you assume the male cast wasn't also being harassed and that women, weren't also doing harassing? Harassment doesn't have a gender/sex. The reason that A-Squad had old suits was because SPD didn't have a big budget so they were told to sort through old costumes to make stuff and reuse. Thats why the timeforce suit was also used.

Other than the Spider-Man. I feel like I knew most of that. I did think it was a little odd that they did not make the reference connection of the original red ranger helmet having been reused from the V.R. troopers. All they did was add some teeth to it and change the color.

The video was wrong, there was 2 Super Sentai teams (although at that time they are not branded as "Super Sentai" yet), namely Gorenger and J.A.K.Q before Spiderman Japan. The production of Spiderman Japan make use of robots, which subsequently influence the use of robots in fight scene in Super Sentai.

This set of parents were forbidden by their parents to watch the series as young children, thus they thought their children would repeat what was seen on TV. It wasn't always through fighting enemies, it was through study, friendship and teamwork that the parents were missing the point!!! Time for the generation gap to close for good!!! Once a Ranger , Always a Ranger!!!

Yes i am familiar with how these things are done i am a fan back from 1993 but was disappointed by alot of the discrimination that went on i still watched the series since i grew up with it but never noticed alot these details at the time

In the reboot they should tell the story from the beginning so people will have good understanding of what and who the powers rangers are

You know his green counterpart died in Japan. After watching Zyuranger I hated Tommy for never being around like he wasn't as interested in being a hero or turned on the Angel Grove news to see if he was needed.

I still don't get the modifications to the in space suits , while Bioman suits were just there.

at that time, they didn't have the right to use bioman suit(or any other sentai before zyuranger), but now they have the right after they adapt gokaiger(because all previous sentai suit is part of "assets" of gokaiger series that they adapted)

Here's are surprising facts. The Gold Ranger Jason portrayed was the oldest ever in the franchise by being born six million years before the start of the show and was actually a black ranger with a lot of gold on his suit.

Slightly wrong, Trey of Triforia was the first Gold Ranger, Jason only took over since Trey was feeling weak and Billy couldn't use the power. So Trey transferred his power to him.

@@JadenYukifan28 I was talking about King Ranger from Ohranger. Riki was an armored black ranger and not a true gold ranger. If the helmet had more gold on it like Solaris Knight, that would've made him gold.

That cause the spider-man season they used footage from wasn’t the inspiration cause super sentai started in 1975 and that season was in 1978

Officer Tate (Sky’s father) is wearing Wes Collin’s Time Force Red Costume with a small SPD logo added. It was done because they needed a Ranger suit and it was lying around.

His” Time force ranger” suit is basically the “prototype” spd ranger suit before the official spd ranger suit.

The spider-man part wasn’t correct cause super sentai wasn’t inspired by the series cause super sentai started in 1975 and the spider-man season did happen until 1978 making super sentai 3 years old by the time the spider-man season happened and by now it’s fairly common knowledge at this point that the rangers is an adaptation of super sentai and it always fun taking part in the speculation of what season would be adapted next but the season under the marvel partnership are permanently off the table possibly due to marvel probably have some ownership of them

japanese spiderman is the inspiration of giant robot battle for super sentai, because the first super sentai didn't use giant robot, they start use giant robot since battle fever, which is aired after japanese spiderman.
