Here's my theory as to why KO-35 has an odd name: Andros' species is referred to as "Kerovians". I take that to mean they evolved on a planet called Kerovia and his homeworld, KO-35, is an off-world colony. My person head-canon is that it stands of "Kerovian Outpost 35".

@@SophiaSanders61 it was only bad in season 1 but it was bad enough that the show producer had to apologize on twitter because of it. And said producer was a new one who started working at episode 13 onwards so theres definitely a lot of production issues. Heres to give an idea A quick look at Yugiwiki/pedia shows that episode 13, 21, and 29 is a recap/clip show. According to the same quick look a topic on gamefaqs stated that episode 37 is a recap although cross checking to yugioh wiki said it was actually episode 38 3 recaps over 30 episodes. 4 over 38. Season 1 lasts a total of 46 episode Season 2 was episode 47 to around episode 100-102 or so and the recap was on 59 and 83 Season 3 which is officially around episode 102, but 103 is kinda when it began is.... guess. A recap. That was the final recap before the series ends at 120 episode the shortest of all Yugioh series so far Amongst other hilarious thing in the production, Firewall Dragon, one of the poster card of Vrains(think Stardust Dragon from 5D for example) is notorious in real life as a really degenerate card whose effect lends towards first turn kills and degenerate plays. To the point that its considered as the sole contributor to why 2018 is considered one of the single worst year of the game. This is a big deal for card game based anime - Duel Masters dying in Western Market and dark age in Japanese market at the time is partially attributed to how hated Destiny Dragon Bombazar are as a card and the game took too long to ban it from play. The resulting mess is that Firewall Dragon, is restricted until late 2018 where it got banned. In the show itself said poster card is barely used in the actual series despite being promoted. It shows up a grand total of 5 times throughout 120 episodes and over those appearance it was used as a proper ace card on episode 10 and 18 which is its debut and its second duel respectively. By the second season both of the poster card are effectively replaced by Cyberse Clock Dragon who manage to have more appearance than Firewall Dragon despite only showing up midway through the series.

@@AC-gb7do I'm familiar with it mostly do to Linkara's review of it a few years back. Truth be told comics aren't my main window into superheros, T.V. and movies are. I'll occasionally pick up a trade collection of a story line or a tie-in to a franchise I'm familiar with (if you liked Avatar: the last Airbender or the Legend of Kora, those tie-ins are great), but otherwise my familiarity comes from the shows I like as well as research for the stuff I miss from the comics. Might be an unorthodox way of doing it, but I get by.

The year is 199Adam. After a severe defeat from the Evil Divadam, the Adam Rangers travel to Adam on an ADAM space shuttle. Meanwhile, the Evil Divadam is attending a celebration of the defeat of the Adam Rangers with the Alliance of Adam, although there is some tension between the Evil Divadam and Adam Abhoreena. There also appears to be a new Evil Adam: Astronemadam. However, when they toast to Dark Adam for his capture of the wizard Adam, a mysterious cloaked figure doesn’t drink. He then reveals himself to be a Red Adam Ranger and flees on an Adam Rider. Back to the Adam Rangers, they come across and are forcibly boarded by the Astro Adamship and meet the Red Adam Ranger, but he thinks they’re an attacking force, despite their pleas. However, they soon find themselves attacked by Adamtrons. The Red Adam Ranger attempts to fight them alone, but Adam, the previous Red Adam Ranger, along with the others, insist on assisting. They aren’t much help without their Adams. Luckily, the Red Adam Ranger is able to fight them off. He then de-Adams and introduces himself as Adam and Adam is shown to have a crush on him. Adam tells them about Adam’s situation, but leaves, instead of helping in their search. However, more arrive and, while Adam leaves, Adam 6, the previous Adam Ranger’s robot ally, convinces him to go back. The Adam Rangers get captured and are brought to Astronemadam. Adam returns to the Adam Rangers, saving them, and gives them their Astro Adamisers. However, after Adamising, it is revealed that Adam is now the Blue Adam Ranger and Adam is now the black Adam Ranger (however Adam and Adam retain their previous colors). Astronemadam then attacks the Adam Rangers with Adam jets, so they flee into the Astro Adamship. Adam 6 plugs in the black adam into the Adamship, where it is revealed that the Adamship and the ADAM shuttle can combine to form the Astro Adamzord. They destroy the Adam jets and decide to return to Adam to make repairs, with Astronemadam swearing to destroy Adam and the Adam Rangers. And thus begins: Adam Rangers in Space! Why the f*ck did I do this? It doesn’t even make sense! Why did I have all the good guys called Adam, but have the villains have decent to terrible combinations of their original names and Adam!? Where’s the internal consistency!? And why is it that Divadam needs Evil in her name, just to remind us she’s, you know, evil!?

The episode right after the one showing the monster with a heart shows humans who commit crimes, showing that humans aren't all good, some do bad things. I like that they did that with two episodes in a row, showing that monsters aren't all bad, but humans are capable of being monsters in their own right. I wonder if that was done intentionally, as a lesson of not judging one by their cover, and also a hard one of someone who you know and love, might not be a good person, something we have to learn time and time again.

Replace Time Force with Zeo and Lost Galaxy with RPM and you got my favorites. Kinda funny since those seem to be the series that saved Power Rangers in their respective era's since Zeo kept the series alive as a much needed shake up when season 3 underperformed, In Space as the pulling out all the stops to make it the best season we can since we may be cancelled next season, and RPM doing the same as In Space since Disney wanted to kill the show off but ended up selling it back to Saban (only for him to nearly kill the show AGAIN with Mega Force).

Another thing that adds to the theory that the NASADA director knew Zordon is that he specifically says “Eltar has fallen…” after Justin whispers to him in a tone that implies he knew what that means. Given that Andros knows Zordon it probably means that he gave them access to KO-35's technology, hence why the shuttle and ship can combine. Though this does raise the question of why Zordon never used KO-35 tech to help the Rangers, but hey it’s not like plot holes are a new thing in Power Rangers. Awesome to see the remastered version of this episode at last. Thanks Linkara 😁

I actually have a theory about returning powers, though, upon further reflection, it's still a shaky one. If power is lost or depleted, the power is never really gone. It goes back to the Morphin Grid and regenerates its power. However, it takes time to regenerate, which would explain things like how the wind and thunder rangers' powers only temporarily came back. Perhaps they regenerate when evil is destroyed; remember, according to Lord Zedd, the Morphin' Grid's balance is maintained by the struggle between good and evil. With evil regenerating, maybe the grid allows the powers to regenerate to evenly match it. Again, this theory is shaky at best, but I think it also explains things like Tommy getting all his powers back in the Master Morpher, Catherine getting the Turbo powers back, and the return of the falcon zord.

Honestly ever since seeing Justin still having his powers I've wanted a show or episode where Justin comes back since he's all grown up now they could show him as a seasoned veteran Ranger that went on his own adventures with Lighting Cruiser and Storm Chaser as the lone Turbo Ranger and they could have it where he upgraded the two cars to be able to speak (so he wouldn't be lonely) and probably other adjustments to make them more modern (so they wouldn't need to track down the same cars if they're in some collectors private collection by now or worse scrapped) would be super cool in my opinion cause it would help redeem the character since so many hated him cause he was a little kid and it would give the actor a more loving place in the overarching ethos of the series. Just an idea I've had for awhile now.

For the TMNT crossover, Elgar's voice actor Derek Prince also voiced Raphael. Makes that whole kicking him thing funnier. Also, Michael Reisz and Tifanie Christun (Matt and Biyomon from Digimon Adventure) were the voices of Leonardo and Venus respectively. Ezra Weisz and Tony Oliver were the voices for Donatello and Mikey. So the guys weren’t voiced by the same guy.

Watching this as a 9 year old, I was so into that hidden chamber and the Silver Ranger that when I got the action figure, I left him in his case for a few days pretending the packaging WAS the cryogenic tube. At the time I also neeeever saw the brother/sister connection. It's so obvious lol. This was my favorite power ranger series as a kid (I probably stopped watching whatever was on around 2002), because I was old enough to sort of follow plot lines and enjoy the show for more than just the action shots. I've been looking for a silver ranger helmet to buy. I don't mind spending a good chunk of change, but all I can find are crappy 3d printed ones. Ideally, I'd find a really high quality one that also lit up at the top.

27:30 This moment has stuck with me for a very long time, and is the impetus for a major portion of my tRPG ranger team. "The Morphin Grid remembers." Even if the morphin device or the power coin/energy crystal is destroyed the powers still exist within the morphin grid and just need to be found and reused. It's why the ranger keys work in Megaforce and how Tommy's Master Morpher works. They're other ways (or in the case of the Zeo coin, the same way put in a coin) to recall the powers from the morphin grid.

Considering how many contingencies Zordon supposedly had, I can’t help but wonder if everything that happened in megaforce was just a fluke with Gosei placed as a guardian like Ninjor and he just assumed that meant he could create and train his own Ranger team without getting any management training from Zordon. Come to think of it, Zordon tended to hide quite a lot from the Rangers. With all the secrets this guy kept, why was everyone always so eager to trust him? We don’t even know how Zordon knew which 5 teenagers to “recruit”, since this was long before social media and the mechanics of the viewing globe are never really explored beyond their function as plot convenience.

some fun facts about the show that in space adapts -darkonda (guirail): did ot have multiple lives and died after his defeat by the mega voyayer -the main characters were high school students about to graduate , with the exception of the silver ranger who was a scientist that hepled build the machines - the main antagonist was a scientist called dr hinelar and his henchmen were ecliptor ( called yugande), and shibolena, an android based on his deceased daughter -elgar (zemolda) doesnt appear in this season as he became good at the end of carranger alongside the others villains with the exception of havoc -of course there wasnt an union of bad guys and dark specter didnt exist. - the main antagonist group wasnt from outer space but from another dimention called nejirejia - the psycho rangers, called nezirangers never came back for a cross over -the monsters are called nezilar - dr hinelar did succceed in killing dark specter's counterpart (king javius) -furio from lost galaxy came from megaranger, he was a transfromation of dr hinelar for the final episode however he wasnt able to sustain it -the grunts are some purple monsters i forgot their names -remember tankenstein? he wasnt a monster but a mecha in megaranger caled great neziros piloted by hinelar, and the final boss of the series. -yugande dies after the fight in which he became red

@@flashmanairgood9426 Well, the name Megaforce really didn't have any meaning to the actual season, though, that's only the tip of the iceberg on Megaforce and Super Megaforce. But if In Space was called something different, Megaforce could have worked here. For one, the sentai is known as Megaranger, and the "mega" name does stick around even in Power Rangers. Plus, given how serious this season is and with their mission, it adds a sense of this is a group specially made to accomplish its goal. I do actually still think In Space probably was the best choice for this, but it's just funny to think back that in a season that has such connections to "mega" that it makes me think of Megaforce and how better situated it would be here if this season wasn't called In Space.

Actually, MegaRanger wasn’t Video game themed, it was (dated) Technology themed, it was ORIGINALLY a space themed series, but things changed. Also in a weird twist of irony, MegaRed wasn’t the leader of his team, Black was. Im convinced that the morphers and coins are just conduits for the power. They wrap the user in the morphing grid both empowering and protecting them. The power is still there but their access has been destroyed or severely damaged. Zed said the morphing grid was maintained by the conflict of good and evil, thats a universe spanning conflict across time and space so I doubt the grid could be destroyed but the devices channeling it can be. It also explains why their powers flux so much. The greater the conflict the stonger the grid becomes. So at the beginning of a series when the conflict has only started the grid is at its thinnest but at the end when both sides are pushed to their limit its at its thickest and most potent. If either side is close to winning the grid gets weaker so all power rangers have to fight defensive battles waiting for their enemy's spear to break against their shield because their powers would give out during an offensive assault.
