Goji Story wise, the Mighty Morphing Rangers were my favorite. I could never really get into the later rangers! I guess that the newer PR movements had too much of a Star Trek: Next Generation thing to them.

+Joe Humpston Well if you're not a fan of too much change, may I recommend Dino Thunder? (it along with Ninja Storm and SPD were great seasons) It is basically the Mighty Morphin of it's time. The mentor of the new Rangers is Tommy Oliver himself. They also had an entire evil Ranger arc etc. I guess what I loved about the start of the Disney era (and Time Force and Wild Force) so much is that the characters weren't overachievers and perfect from the get go like I felt it was the case with Mighty Morphin' They were flawed and more realistic characters that had to grow into their roles as Rangers. But in my humble opinion, not a single season until now has surpassed Time Force. While still being Power Rangers (which is obviously childish) it was the most mature season, often dealt with adult themes and gave genuinely good character development. Not to mention the villain was actually creepy and threatening (and so were some of his underlings) I mean hell in the first episode the main villain kills the Red Ranger, so they have to find a new one.

Sorry for the necro post, but I must post a timeline correction. @ 15:23 it shows Green and White Rangers in it which is impossible, particularly when the Green ranger is sporting the sword given to Tommy from Rita during the "Green with Evil" 5 part Green Ranger intro episodes. Tommy used the Dragon Dagger as well before and after the sword was destroyed and he joined the other rangers. Jason (Red, not in scene) had the Power Sword which, when combined with the other 4 weps, (Blue Power Lance not shown) created the Power Cannon. OK, I'm letting my nerd out a bit...

DRAGON DAGGER OR SWORD OF DARKNESS, GREEN RANGER! Sword of Dakness is actually a little too easy for you guys I think though..... Hell I made one in an afternoon. The heat treating/tempering took longer than the entire fabrication process XD. Mostly because it's odd wider profile made finding a big enough quench tank rather difficult. Other than that, it was just one big hunk of 1060 steel plasma cut from some 4g sheet I had laying around, and other than the main edge bevel didn't require a whole ton of stock removal, and definitely no intricate fittings like the ones you guys do. Honestly I just don't have the patience or steady enough hand for that type of work, so I "outsource" that type of stuff to more patient and talented men than myself ;). Unless it's a cast fitting or something machined, count me out. Other than the red cord wrapped around the hilt and flowy tassle bits, there were no actual "fittings". Oh yeah the finish took a little longer than I wanted as well, but that was just elbow grease. Fun project for an afternoon/evening and made a nice golden birthday gift for a friend of mine a couple weeks later. He sort of REALLY likes Power Rangers and always had to be Green when we used to play as kids. He would come to actual REAL blows if anyone challenged his claim to the Green Ranger mantle. You should've seen him meet Jason David Frank about a year and a half back..... I swear I have never seen a damn near 30 year old grown ass man get so emotional to the point of hysterics over meeting another human being. Whatever makes him happy I guess. I'm glad I managed to get JDF to sign the thing via mail before I presented it to him. Sent it out with a letter outlining the story and details and upon its return he sent a letter back with it. Apparently he remembered the near hysterical man child from 6 months prior (gifted it about a year ago) and said no apology was necessary, among other things, since he was holding back some tears of his own apparently. My buddy has since kept the piece hanging proudly above his little collection wall with the hand written letter framed under it, along with a picture of us just after I read him the letter and gave him the sword, and was able to lose some puffy eye for a decent displayable photo op. At least, that's where the sword stays when he isn't slaying putties, Red Rangers, and the occasional watermelon with it. Glad to see my work was appreciated by someone so close to me. First time a blade fabrication gift idea hasn't gone horribly and terribly wrong for me XD.

Yeah they didn't make the Bottom portion switch into Cannon Blaster Mode but a Reforge for the Final Combined Weapons version should alleviate that
