One small point of contention from me is that Soul Calibur seems a tad oversized - twice the size bigger than what is seen in the game (Soul Calibur in-game had about the same size of a Jian sword), while Soul Edge is PERFECT! My nitpick aside, you guys did a GREAT JOB!

When a game in its entirety gravitates around two swords, one of which was literally *made* with the shard of the other and MANATARMS makes both is... too big to comprehend. A pair of guys named Peter Lyon and John Howe hand made all those swords though. Idk if there would be copy-write infringement if Man At Arms made replicas since United Cutlery holds the license for making replicas. It kinda feels like they took Xianghua's Soul Calibur and scaled it up to something Siegfried might use. I'm guessing it's because trying to do that kind of work on something the actual size of the sword in-game would've been impractical at best. Or maybe they just decided they wanted to do two ginormous swords in one build. :P

How large they made it was impractical, it would of probably been more work on their part to make an actual sized Soul Calibur, but it would of been godly and made sense. Hell the split blade would be wonky for such a large sword, that's why it was so wobbly when they were swinging(yes I know swords wobble sometimes but not to such an extreme). And don't bash on how small the sword is or that its "girly". One handed swords are meant to be "small" so they are easier to wield and you could be more precise with your swings/stabs. Its finesse over brute strength/power. That's why the current wielder of SC does a lot of fast/flowy movements as if they were dancing, as opposed to Nightmare whose movements are slow, straight forward, and heavy. If it were anyone else but Nightmare, it would be a waste of energy.

Because Soul Calibur is Soul Edge's light counterpart. They're the same sword, but one's good and the other one is evil. Wouldn't make sense if the two swords were completely different sizes.

It's supposed to be the original Xianghua's Soul Calibur, a one handed sword which you can use for martial arts. So not too much heavy. Maybe it was too hard to reproduce on that size, but don't tell me that it fits to the user because he wanted it bigger, even the team seem to have issues to handle it properly x]

Been waiting for Soul Edge for a long time, great build! And great team effort in the demo lol. Getting Soul Calibur as well is a great bonus, though I think it was kinda odd how large it was. I'm guessing it is so the two individual blades would have at least some amount of structural integrity? They were wobbling so much as it is. The way it is in the game is definitely an impractical design for a real weapon.

I would guess that Soul Edge weighed 14 -17 pounds and Soul Caliber weighed 25 - 33 pounds. Just an estimate. My mom thinks Soul Caliber weighed upwards of 50 pounds. I just don't see that as something like an MG42 weighs 30 something pounds I think.
