I remember reading that Amy Jo Johnson had already said she wanted to leave the show, so I'm guessing that in order to make Kim stay around while longer they filmed a bunch of scenes separate from the main cast that they could just insert into episodes when they needed. It's quite clever when you think about it, I know that I didn't notice when I was a kid.

She was supposed to be in 3 episodes after Katherine became pink ranger from pre recorded scenes, like on the phone, letter. And they obviously weren't used in the end.

When I was a junior, I was allowed one day to teach my geometry class. I joked about it with my teacher cause I was her student aid like 2 bells earlier than mine when she taught the same class as ours except it was considered a level more advance than ours in a small way. So that day I wrote on the board what we were learning and I explained how to solve for the problems had some come up to try what I was teaching them and then I assigned only 5 problems because any homework I assigned I had to do as well.

Teacher of the day was a normal thing at my school, except that the teacher did not become a teenager, and the student had a specific theme that he presented to the class (having studied it beforehand). It was like, 1 day for each student and was more about forcing the students to study a topic (since they would be teaching it) than about "learning how it's hard to be a teacher and a teenager"

@@TheMontyVerse Yeah tbh it was basically just a class presentation, except that it took the time of a whole class and you had to prepare tests on the subject that you were presenting. We would joke that the teacher was feeling lazy when he decided to have that day

I was rewatching some older clips and in S1 no clowning around, the monster says that their suits protected them from his magic at one point during the fight. Fast forward to this S3 episode, that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Guess it was a different type of magic perhaps.

If you think about it Rocky is technically a teacher in a way. Part time at least when it comes to teaching his students in martial arts. So I can understand the trust he has in science even though his books was jacked lol I didn't see anything creepy about the teacher being a student in class. I seen it being awkward like having a parent there maybe, but it's not like he was trying to socialize with any girls. If anything he couldn't get out of his authority role. Rito actually did a great job. He's had the rangers on the run a few times since he's joined the team, and he didn't even plan this. He was just being spontaneous. Whatever happened he went with it. This was a great episode, but my final thoughts about it is this was just another "Rock just wants to have fun" episode. All the rangers got turned into something, and they had to figure out how to get them back to normal. By the way this isn't the first time Tommy sacrificed his self and took a bullet for one of his teammates. He gave Jason his shield for protection, so he can grab the new weapons, and he was battling Titanus alone. He gave Zack his shield when he was weak, so he could heal faster, and pushed him out the way when Zack was going to get blasted again to take the shot. Sorry I'm a huge Tommy fan. I'm just pointing out his leadership material skills before he became leader, because this is the only time where you say he's a good leader lol. Enough of all that though..... I have more to say about Rocky, and this episode, but I'll just end it here, and say I think Billy should have been the teacher, but it's great to see how far Billy has come with his karate being a red belt. In season 1 he had yellow. Good reaction 👌🏾✌🏾

The "teacher for a day" storyline has happened in a few sitcoms in the 90s. Two that I recall are Boy Meets World and Saved by the Bell.

It is a very common psychological technique called role reversal. It gives perspective on the stressors a particular role has. It is supposed to promote empathy. Actually, having students teach is more effective for tactile learners. And yes, some students did teach classes for career day, or they could not find a sub (usually the top student in the class)

@TheMontyVerse Probably due to the liability of all the schools nowadays. Oh, as for Rocky flubbing the class, his confidence in his ability to lead the class was due to the textbooks being taken. Lesson plans and instructions to lead the class were in them. Naturally, if you lost the guides you'd be nervous.

MontyVerse and Nicki, That was a fantastic reaction episode of Season 3 episode 10 of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers that is titled Wizard for a Day. Also, Mr. Wilton is one of the Toughest Teachers ever in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Also, Rocky's teaching skills were awesome when he helped Alpha to turn the Rangers Back to Normal. Also, The Ape Zord did took care of Marvel the Meanie which turned Mr. Wilton to Normal. Also, I like the Part where Mr. Wilton teached Bulk and Skull a lesson because he did gave Rocky his books in the Teacher for a Day Project. Also, They have an episode of Saved by the Bell where the Students trade places with the Teachers and Zack and Mr. Belding traded places with Zack as Principal, and Mr. Belding as a Student. Also, I am looking forward to next Monday's reaction episode of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers that is titled Fourth Down and Long that is also about Football. Also, A Question for you and Nicki, What did you think of Mr. Wilton? Also, You and Nicki keep up the good work on the reaction episodes of Power Rangers every Monday.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Thanks to a screw up in Fox, they aired the *Stop the Hate Master* two parter before *Final Face/Off* The episode re-introduced Titanus. Thank goodness for ITV back in mid 90s as they aired *Final Face Off* after *Fourth Down and Long* and then the *Stop the Hate Master*
