Sounds so full yet uses only 4 FM channels and 3 PSG channels! A feat not usually done by japanese composers. Not even using arpeggios to fake chords!

Naoto Ishikawa may have been the Tim Follin to the games he composed these tunes for... May have been on the PC-8801 which would explain the lack of channels FM4 and FM5, which was a limitations all composers on the platform were forced to deal with.

no, it's YM2203, the 2 bottom FM channels are actually FM3 in Extended mode those soundtracks are for the PC98
