From Executive Producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and show creator Courtney Kemp Agboh (“The Good Wife”) comes Season 2 of “Power,” a drama straddling the glamorous lifestyles of Manhattan’s rich and infamous and the dark underworld of the international drug trade.
Season 2 will pick up where the first season left off: James “Ghost” St. Patrick doubling down on his drug business to save his nightclub and his dream of a legitimate future. Ghost’s work troubles pale in comparison to juggling his relationship with his wife, Tasha, and his first love Angela, who’s also an Assistant US Attorney investigating his drug organization.
Ghost is set further back from his dream by his business partner Tommy who wants to stay in the drug game, and his former mentor, Kanan, fresh out of jail, and looking for revenge.

***** The difference is that THE WIRE they went into the nuts & bolts of the drug business and how to make money... and gaining territory it showed what happened in the trenches...( You could go sell drugs yourself after 5 episodes based off what you saw on the screen )... However, the POWER its more TOP- Down.. and they do whole-sale distribution... not dollar by dollar earnings.

Manny Von Doom Marlo is actually smarter than he is...KAANAN showed his hand too early. The bad information on who hired the girl came direcly from KAANAN.... His sudden release from prison... and him reconnecting with cats who were loyal to him back in the day... makes him hard to eliminate....So Ghost has to keep him close.. even though he realizes he's attacking him while ' smiling to his face '.... Deduction shows that GHOST n Tommy wouldn't have gotten this rich if he was still on the street, so obviously they had something to do with him going to prison... He knows Tommy isn't that smart to set him up.. so it had to be Ghost & Tasha.
